Tracie gave birth to a baby girl about 3 years ago and her name is Cloe Christina Anderson. She was named after me (her mother), and one of her best friends. Tracie has told me that she now understands a mother's love. When she was little, I used to tell her that once she has a child of her own, she would feel the strongest love for them once they are born. The moment you see your child you want to protect them, hold them close, and never want to let them go.
It's just a love that you can't really describe in words. (I'm not a mother myself so I don't know but I heard that's how Brie Bella described the love she had for her daughter Birdie.) And now she feels that love. The love you can't describe. Anyways, Cloe is going to be the flower girl at Tracie's wedding.
The wedding is only three days away and today is Tracie's surprise bachelorette party. I am her maid of honor. Everything is planned and Christopher already had his bachelor party. It was now Tracie's turn. Tracie is picking out bridesmaid dresses right now so it is the perfect time to set up the party. I picked up my phone and texted Christopher.
"Text me when you guys are heading home," the text said. I told Damon and he left to pick up the cake, wine, champagne, and ice cream. I took the balloons that spelt "hers'' out of my closet. I spaced them out in the middle of the living room. I had Damon move all of the furniture into the secret room earlier so nothing was in the living room at the moment.
I walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water. Suddenly, I heard the front door open. I grabbed my gun and walked towards the living room. I walked in and said, "Put your hands up!," The person turned around and said, "Babe. It's just me," the person took off their hood and I saw it was Damon.
"I could've shot you. Why are you wearing that, anyway?," I say, putting my gun back in the hollister at my waist. "No, you wouldn't have. I've seen you do your job before. You would've pulled my hood off and if not, you would've shot me in the leg. To be honest, you wouldn't have killed me. And I'm wearing this in case I bump into our daughter. She wouldn't know who I am then. Here's everything," he says, handing me the bags.
I walk into the kitchen again and take everything out of the bags. I place the cake in the middle of the peninsula and both bottles of champagne and wine on either side of it. I then throw the bags in the trash. I put the ice cream in the freezer and walked to the living room. I put some streamers in a big bowl and blew up some more balloons.
I put the balloons around the room. I call Jack, Angie, Alex, the old chief, and all of Tracie's friends and tell them to come. About 10 minutes later, there's a knock on the door. I walk over and open it. It was Jack.
"Hey mom," I say, letting her in. "Hi Christy," she says. I close the door and I give her a hug. A few moments later, I'm sitting on my bed talking with Jack and Damon. I hear a knock on the door and I get up.
I walk into the living room and answer the door. The rest of the guests had arrived at that time. Everyone looked awesome. I got a text from Christopher; about 20 minutes later, saying that he and Tracie were on their way. I walk into the bathroom and change into my dress.
I put makeup on and walk out. The minute Damon sees me, he walks up to me. "You look gorgeous," he says, grabbing my waist. "Thanks babe," I say. We kissed and walked out to the living room where everyone else was.
I turn all of the lights off after we all hide. I grab the bowl of streamers and crouch down. Five minutes later, the door opens and the lights come on. We all jump up and say, "Surprise," I throw the streamers on Tracie. Tracie smiles. "Thank you, everyone! You guys are the best!," she says.
"Well, the one you should be thanking is your mother. She came up with this whole idea," Jack says. Tracie walks towards me and hugs me. She hugs me and says, "Thank you, mom. This means a lot. I love you so much,"
