Playground

(yall r kids in this idk why but idc)

you were so excited. today your mother was letting you go to the park across the street with your older sister, onika.

the weather was perfect, not sunny to the point where it would get annoying but it was not going to rain.

"y/n/n get your shoes let me help you." onika called you.

you grabbed the white sneakers from your closet and ran down the stairs the fastest your five year old legs could take you.

"why'd you pick white?" she asked you.

you shrugged.

"i can't change them sissy so can we go noww." you started to get impatient.

you didn't know why your sister was being so annoying.

all you wanted to do was go and play with the other kids.

"y/n hold your sisters hand." your mother scolded you and you laughed, running away from her.

eventually you stopped running and stood at the side of the road, waiting for onika to catch up to you.

"you make me sick." she groaned.

"cough then." you laughed as your sister just huffed.

"i will he sitting here okay. don't talk to anyone over the age of 8." she shooed you away.

you ran to the swings but stopped when you saw a girl with long hair sitting down.

"can you push me?" you asked her.

she looked like she was your age, even if she was a stranger, onika should not mind.

"sure." the girl smiled and stood up.

she is really pretty, you thought to yourself.

your five year old self didn't even know this girl would be your best friend amd wife in the future.

all you knew was that she was a nice girl who was willing to push you because your legs were too short the the big kids swing.

"thank youu." you ran to the swing amd sat in it, letting the girl push you as you shrieked everytime it went a little too high.

"do you need me to push you?" you asked her and she laughed, shaking her head.

"noo also i'm kylie." she smiled.

"i'm y/n." you smiled back at her.

the two of you moved on to play in the sand pit, until some older children came there and started being noisy to the point where you couldn't even talk to yoir new friend.

"let's go!" she huffed amd dragged you over to the slides.

"we can slide race!" you laughed and clapped.

"i will beat you tho y/n/n." kylie giggled along with you.

this was the best playground ever for the two of you since this day.

and all either of you could talk about was each other, to the point where kylie's sisters teased her about it.

they joked, saying they would hold a wedding for the two of you, and the next week she invited you to her house.

well her mother did, and her sister kourtney hosted a wedding for the two of you.

she was now your best friend 'forever' and as young as you were, you would live up to it.
