Chapter 34

Marlena's POV

The sun shined on my eyes, I woke up and yawned, stretching. I saw Matt still sleeping, he looked so adorable sleeping!

I got out of bed and got some clothes. I picked out a Magcon T-shirt and blue skinny jeans. I put on mascara and brushed my hair. Exiting my bathroom I saw Matt, he was slowly, very slowly, waking up.

"Matt wake up!" I said and hit him with a towel. He just groaned and faced away form me. "Fine don't wake up" I said and went out of my room.

I saw Hannah eating toast and Ivy eating a pop tart. "where's Matt?" Ivy asked.

"He wouldn't wake up" I said and grabbed an apple. She nodded. "So what's new?" I asked.

"Well nothing much, except that Taylor, Ivy and I are leaving today" Hannah said sadly.

"Awwww that sucks. I'll miss you guys!" I said and gave them each hugs. The guys came downstairs looking like zombies.

"Run the apocalypse is coming!" I yelled and earned a few laughs.

"Come here you" Nash said from behind me and spun me around.

"Nash!" I said and playfully hit him.

"Alright" he said and put me down.

"Well me, Ivy, and Hannah have to head out! Got a plane to catch!" Taylor announced and they gathered up their things.

"Bye guys. I'll miss you! Text me!" I said and gave them all hugs. The others gave them hugs and said goodbye. They called up a taxi and left to the airport.

I sat on the couch and turned the TV on, soon Jack J came and joined me. "Hey Marlena" he said and patted my leg.

"Hey Jack, where's Jack?" I asked.

"I don't know" he said clearly.

"He's been gone alot" I said and JackJ nodded and I turned my attention to the TV.

"Say hi to Marlena the young potatoe!" Jack J said. I looked at him and saw he was on Snapchat. I laughed and waved.

"Hi. I'm the young potatoe" I said. The Snapchat ended and he put it on his story. Rex walked over to me and laid his head on my lap. I petted his stomach, I noticed when I petted in one specific spot on his stomach, he flinched. I examined it closer and saw it could be a tomur.

"Cam! Guys! Somethings wrong with Rex!" I yelled frantically. "We should take him to the vet" Jack J, Matt and I went to the vet, Cam and Nash weren't home. Jack J drove, Matt sat shot gun and I stayed in the back with Rex. As we pulled up to the vet and parked the jeep. Matt carried him in and I told the vet.

Few minutes later we got called into the vet's office. I stood there listening to every word he said. I told the vet that Rex has been drinking more than usual and liming on his back legs. It turns out that Rex has a Splene Tomur, it couldn't be cured and was slowly killing him. Right then in their I had to make the decision to put him down or let him live in a world of pain.

The vet gave us a moment, I put my head down on Rex's neck. He was wimpering and looked so scared and confused. After a few minutes I made the decision.

We drove back in silence, I held Rex's collar on my hand. As we got back I said nothing, I went up to my room and cried.
