Chapter 36

*Few Weeks Later*

Marlena's POV

Cameron left early this morning to work on 'Expelled' so it was just me, Nash and Jaxx at home.

"Hey Marlena! Want to go to the beach with me?" Nash asked with his swimming trunks on, tangtop, sunhat, and towel.

"Ya! Be down in a minute" I said and wore a plain blue crop top and short shorts with a zebra print bikini under it and a zebra print towel. "Can we take Jaxx?" I asked looking at the dog.

"Fine" Nash said and I grabbed Jaxx's leash clipping it to his collar.

"Let's go" I said and we walked to the beach.

"I'm gonna tan" I said laying out a towel and laying down on it, as Jaxx sat next to my chair.

"No your not" Nash said and picked me up running to the water.

"You better not" I warned, he smirked and threw me in the water, "Nash!"

"What?" He smirked. We splashed water on each other and laughed. After awhile of having fun we went and got some ice cream. We took Jaxx along but the place had a strict 'no dogs allowed policy' so we left him tied to a bike rake outside.

"I'll have vinalla in a cup" I said.

"I'll same thing" Nash said and smiled at me. I was gonna pay for our ice cream, but then Nash handed them the money.

"Nash I was gonna pay for that" I said.

"Hey I'm not going to let a beautiful girl like you pay" he smiled, my cheeks heated up. We finished our ice cream and headed back to the beach.

"So you think I'm beautiful?"

"Ya, the most beautiful girl I've ever met in my entire life" he smiled, then it started to rain. I put my head down, he lifted my chin with his finger and stared into my eyes. He leaned in, I felt his solft lips, he wrapped his arms around me, and I put my arms around his neck. Then it hit me! I was cheating on Matt.

I stopped kissing Nash and fell to the ground. "Marlena I'm so sorry" Nash apologized and he ran his fingers through his hair "I'm such a douche"

"Nash don't say that, it was my fault" I said. "Let's just go back and act like nothing happened" he nodded and we ran back to the apartment.

Nash took out his key, cause I forgot mine, and unlocked the apartment but before he could do that I stopped him and looked at Jaxx. "You saw nothing" I told him.

Then I let Nash unlock the door and we stepped inside tracking water in since we were still soaking wet. "Marlena your back!" Matt said and hugged my damp body. I saw Nash look kinda sad as I hugged Matt.

"Where have you been?" He asked, looking into my eyes with concern.

"Well everyone was busy this morning, so Nash, Jaxx I went to the beach" I smiled, Matt grazed his hand across my cheek and kissed me on the lips.

I opened my eyes and saw Nash walk away. What am I doing?

"Is Cam back yet?" I asked Matt.

"No he texted me saying he would be running a little late" Nash said.

"Ok. So what do you guys want to do?" I asked them. They both shrugged their shoulders.

"Netflix?" I asked and held up my laptop. They never said no so I turned on a horror movie and crawled under the covers.

(After the movie)

Nash shut the laptop, I jumped "ahhh!" That movie scared the shit out of me, I crawled under the covers more.

"Marlena are you ok?" Matt asked.

"Y-ya i-im fine" I stuttered. Then the front door closed.

"Murder!" I screamed and threw the closet thing to me, which was the TV remote.

"Ouch what the hell was that!?" The 'murder' screamed. Then I realized that voice and the lights turned on. It was Cameron.

And I was about to throw a lamp at him. "Sorry Cam I didn't know it was you" I apologized and set the lamp down.

"You hit me with a fucking remote!" He yelled and put his keys on the counter.

"Geez Cam calm down bro" Nash said.

Cam was about to say something but he then stormed up to his room. As his door slammed I jumped onto Matt. That night I made sure Matt didn't leave my side.

I'm sorry it's just that I started school last week (I'm a freshman!) and I'm in marching band (play clarinet. Anyone else?!) which takes up a lot of my time! Just please be patient!
