Y/n's POV:
"I'm really gonna miss you guys!" I say, hugging my mother for the last time for a while.
"We'll miss you too, sweetie.." My mom says, tearing up a bit.
"Yea, yea, whatever." My stepdad says, lighting a cigarette.
"Herald!" My mom whisper yells, elbowing him.
He groaned a bit and rubbed his side. I've never really liked Herald, and he's never liked me.
"Whatever, goodbye, y/n.." he mumbles, not making eye contact. "Goodbye, I guess." I reply, backing away a little bit.
I look at my phone for the time and it's already..3:00pm?! I need to hurry if I wanna be there by 5:00pm!
"Oh, gotta go! Bye mom, love you!" I shout, grabbing my keys and running to my car.
I heard her say she loves me back, as to saying she'll miss me, and I told her the same.
On the way to Funk City, I remembered that I would be completely alone. I'm moving in with V, and I also have Keith!
Who knows, maybe I'll make some new friends, hopefully.
"BZZT! BZZT!" My phone vibrated. "Hm?" I picked it up to see V was calling me. I smiled and answered quickly.
"Hey, V!" I exclaim, putting my phone on speaker. "Hiya, Y/n!" She says, the same cheerful voice as usual.
Except this time, it was more cheery than ever!
"Are you almost here?" She asks. I look at my GPS and saw that I'm only 20 minutes away!
"Just 20 more minutes, babe!" I could here her squeal on the other end of the phone, practically jumping up and down.
"I'm so excited, I can hardly wait!" "Well don't worry, you don't have to be waiting much longer, V!" I exclaim, laughing a bit.
"Hey, Babe, who's that?" I hear someone say. I gasp. It's Keith. "Hey, Keith!" I exclaim. "Remember me?"
"Wait, Y/n?" He asked in a confused tone. Then, he gasped so loudly like he had just realized I was moving in with V, which he probably did.
"Y/n! We're gonna get to hang out again!" He shouts.
"Yup, that's right, Keith!" I day, sipping my f/d(favorite drink).
"Im gonna go ahead and get things ready, I'm see ya soon, hun!" V says, taking the phone back from Keith.
"Alright, see ya here soon! Bye!" I say, getting ready to hand up. "Bye!" And before i could, V hangs up.
Man, I can't wait!
I look up at the sign that says, "Funk City:Up Ahead." Funk City, here i come!
