A knock was on the door.

Ashi- come in.

Servant- ma'am, everyone is calling you down for the function.

Ashi- okay I'll be there in 10 mins.

Servant- okay ma'am ( she left and told this to her mom )

After 15 mins her mom came to her room. Ashi was looking out of the window and was sobbing.

Mom- Ashi?

Ashi ( wipping her tears )- yes mom?

Mom- can I come in?

Ashi- mom I've told you several times you don't need permission to come in.

Her mom comes in and closes the door.

Mom- beta, I know this decision is going to change your life and I'm unhappy with this decision and I know so are you. But my child your father is a stubborn. He only thinks of his business and not about his family. I'm so sorry on behalf of him. Only if someone comes and takes you from this hell.

Ashi- no mumma. Pls don't say this about dad. Let it be. I'll manage. But only thing I want from my fiance is he doesn't touch me. He is only marrying me to take care of his house. To serve him dinner when he comes home. And I'll do that only. And if he touched me a little, then and there I'll leave him and I hope he clear with this.

Mom- yes beta. Now come let's go down.

Ashi- mom?

Mom- ha bolo

Ashi- can I call my friends and invite them pls? I don't even know anyone here. Ab jab mujhe yeh shaadi karni hi hai toh why not make it a happy one? Pls mom?

Then suddenly door opens and her father comes.

Dad- I'm happy that you're ready for this marriage, beta. Yes you can call your friends. Do call your friends in the evening today and invite your whole group here.

Mom- but I guess you don't have any contact of them, right?

Ashi: actually I have Aashna's number but I don't know if she has changed her number or not. But I'll try.

They went down and the function got over at 5 pm. Guests went back to their home and only few relatives were left at khanna mansion. It was 6:15 pm. Ashi was sitting near the window with a cup of coffee in her hand. She was thinking about the time she spent with her friends. She was smiling continuously and tears were rolling down her eyes. That's when she decided to call Aashna. At first she didn't respond. After almost half and hour she got a call from an unknown number. She picked it up.
On call~

Voice- hi my baby

Ashi- sorry who is this?

Voice- nahi pehchana?

Ashi- Mr. Batra?

Mr. Batra- yes my love.

Ashi- oh please Im not your love.

Mr. Batra- c'mon ashi, we're getting married after one or two weeks. Talk to me with love.

Ashi- I'll try. Why did you call? Anything serious?

Mr. Batra- yes I wanted see your mehendi. Kindly video call me.

Ashi- sorry, I'm actually busy right now. I'll be sending a picture of it.

Mr. Batra- are you video calling or should I come to your house and then to your room and then to your bed?
