Suicide boy chapter 3 "Someone I loved"

Leo sat in the dining room on his laptop, he phone began to buzz notifying him he had a new message.
He checked it and it was a message From an Old Ex “Matthew”.

The message had said “hey” :)

That one word brought back many painful memories.
A year ago Leo met Matthew over facebook. Matthew has talked to him first, the two instantly became friends. Matthew had stated that he was gay and he was interested in Leo. Leo had told matthew he was bisexual and was interested in him as well. The two decided to become official and started dating. The two lived in different cities, but they managed.

They texted each other every minuet of every day. And before they would go to bed they would have a long talk on the phone. They would stay up late because neither would want to hang up. Sometimes they would fall asleep over the phone. Their was always a good morning and goodnight text. By their seconded month of dating they finally met in person. Matthew had visited Leos town, and the two went to the mall. They got matching boyfriend shirts, they could finally hold hands.  Matthew had stayed the night with leo that night. It was perfect for one another.

They watched movies, listened to music , ate ice cream, the total chill out date possible. And of course they was a lot of making out. That night Leo had taken Matthews virginity, leo had already lost his to a girl long before they met. The next morning was perfect, pure happiness.

Later that day Matthew had to return home. They made plans to see each other that summer and this time Leo was going to spend the whole summer in Matthew’s town. Things were still the same between them. A month and a half later school was out and it was summer time. Leo packed his bags and he was ready. He had lied to his family, he told him he was going on a camping trip. It was the only way his grandma was going to let him go. Leo got to meet Matthew’s family, he has two sisters one younger and one older, Matthew mom instantly loved Leo.

Leo was brought into the family with open arms. It was a 2 hour trip so Leo got learn his new family quick. Everyday these two would have an amazing day waking up to each other, doing things with each other, talk about the perfect relationship. Even with all this happiness Leo still got depressed, his family hadn’t contacted him or wouldn’t answer his calls or texts. He was home sick. He looked for comfort from Matthew but didn’t get much. Soon he realized he shouldn’t look for comfort and to get over it. His sadness began to grow, even to this day Leo doesn’t understand but Matthew began to change.

That love began to fade. Leo was being ignored by the one he loved. Matthew would leave to a friend’s house and Leo would be all alone. Sure he had Matthew’s family to keep him company but he wasn’t there for them, he was there for Matthew.

Matthew kept treating Leo as if he wasn’t there and if Leo got upset Matthew made it seem like it was Leos fault.  Leo was frustrated he was hurt, he couldn’t eat, he couldn’t think. He packed his things and left, he broke up with Matthew and Matthew acted as if it didn’t mattered.

Leo returned home, to being yelled at he was only gone A whole month and his household had changed for the worst. His grandmother yelled and said hateful things to him for leaving. Leo was heartbroken that he couldn’t even fight back. For a long time he cried himself to sleep because not one person in his life could make him feel better

The saddest part of this is this is only the summary of how things went down, there are still even worse things Leo felt.
