Zero walked through the woods following the vampire. 'What kind of a vamp is this kid? He's almost as jumpy as a newborn kitten.' He contemplated killing the poor guy but just kept walking instead.
The pair soon approached a large castle. It was beautiful and ancient looking. 'When this war is over I'd like to see this place again...'
Once they reached the building he was lead through the winding halls by two guards. 'Well at least these two aren't wimpy'
They reached a set of doors and the men knocked lightly.
"Kaname-sama the hunter is here like you asked." For a few seconds nothing was heard from inside the room until a low and almost inaudible "Let him in" was heard.
Zero was shoved into the room and when he looked back to yell at the guards but they had already closed the door. He turned around and was met with a beautiful stranger. 'So this is the infamous pureblood king'
"Yes that's me" the vampire said with a smirk.
"Ah a telepath I see. I'd love to know what other powers you have?"
"So that you may use my strengths against me, I presume?"
"Why, of course. What other use would I have of that knowledge."
"Listen while I'd love to tell you more, I'm afraid we really must get down to the matter of which I called you here for."
"I would very much like it if you could elaborate on the subject since your messenger knew next to nothing."
"What If I told you there was a way we could end this war without completely destroying one of our races."
"I'd be very curious as to how you propose that could happen."
"An arranged marrige."
"What?"
