Finding a Place

Leyah and Adriana fled the old clearing as the snowballs hit them in their backs. Adri and Leyah where pissed that their hang out was taken away by stupid Phan. When the two friends got away, they started walking. "Now what..." Says Adri. "The old skate park?" Asks Leyah. "Nope, people are always there." Says Adri patting snow off her backpack. The two friends start walking slower. Then, an old lady comes their way. She was smiling warmly. The two girls thought she was friendly so they approached her. "Hello, I'm having trouble finding my way, mind telling me the way to the lake?" She says kindly. "We'll show you!" The two girls say. The old lady was in awe but then kindly smiled. "You two girls are kind. Everyone I've asked would just mock me." The old lady says. After Adri and Leyah arrived at the lake with the old lady, the two where about to leave but the lady stopped them. "Wait, please let me pay you!" She says digging in her purse. "That's okay we don't need it." Says Adri smiling. "We're just looking for a nice place for the two of us to enjoy our free time." Says Leyah. "Well I have a place." Says the old lady. She gives them both amulets. Then the lady disappears into the snowy afternoon. The two girls look at each other. Then the amulets lit up. Everything became a blur to the two. When the two woke up, they where in the snow. Next to the lake. But something seemed different. "Ahem" the two here. "Thanks you for helping my grandmother, for that, I will entrust my power to both of you, as the contractors of water." "Huh?!"
