It's 2:00 in the morning
And I'm listening to our song on replay
The lyrics comforting me
As the tears stream down my face
I wake up breathing heavy
My face soaked in tears
I dreamt of you again
A nightmare full of fear
I breath in your smell
As you hold me in your arms
You look me in the eyes
And kiss me
The softness of your lips crash against mine
I feel safe and at home
You let go and whisper in my ear
"I love you"
Why do you lie to me
You don't love me
If you did you wouldn't have hurt me
You never would have broken me
You ran with my love
And threw it in the little river where we first met
You pulled me under with it
Drowning me
Ever since you left
I can barely breath
The water slowly filling me lungs
Until I'm done
I stare at the stars As I let go
My bare feet leaving the railing of that little bridge
The cool air against my skin as I fall
My body hits the cold water and I'm gone
What good is a girl in this world
If she's broken?
