Go kill yourself
He screamed
The father
Of a girl not even thirteen
She cowered in fear
At the stench of his beer
A father who taught her
She wasn't welcome here
Tears fell from her eyes
As the blade began to slide
The door locked behind her
Soon somebody would find her
Her mother cried
Her father lied
Scrawled in ink
Laid her letter on the sink
Goodbye
I'm sorry Daddy said to die
