✿ FIGHT OF A GUARD ✿ (𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖕𝖑𝖊𝖙𝖊𝖉)

Chapter twenty-eight

"When will you learn to rest?" Lin enters the room seeing Shen Wei walking back and forth while checking some files in his hands, he was still limping lightly

"Uhh, just a little work is pending" Wei replied looking at him then within the next second he was completely into the file once again

"Give it to me!" Lin forcefully takes the file from his hands "But?" Wei stops knowing Lin won't listen now "Give it to me" Lin places the files aside and holds his shoulders, he pushed him back gently to sit on the bed "I came here to ask about your wellbeing but you are working!"

Lin shook his head and smiles, he sits beside the other but suddenly his smile vanished and Wei notices it "What are you doing here at this time? At this late hour?.. why aren't you at your duty?" Shen Wei was worried and the other falls his head down

"I am embarrassed, how could I go there and face everyone when my siblings are criminals, how can I face everything?"

"You have never walked away from your duties, Lin!... then why are you worried about the people? They just like to talk and gossip without knowing the real matter.. Today, you have an identity because of your work, don't get scared of the people and make your, self respect your strength"

Lin smiles at him "You are right, Wei!" Meantime a policeman came and salutes Lin "Sir, your brother Zhujiu held your mom at gunpoint"

"What?!!" Lin and Wei both get shocked and looked at each other.. "Our team has left to look for them" The policeman added and Shen Wei sits back clenching the bedsheets..

On the other side, Yunlan reaches an old, dirty, and abandoned factory, he looks around and nothing was seen clearly due to the night.. he walked in and sees, some sacks, broken tires everywhere, and a bad smell..

"Aunty?" He shouts and advanced forward.. "Brother, Zhujiu, where are you?" He shouts again and falls by stumbling over a sack.. "Ouch!!" Yunlan hissed in pain and stands again.. Yunlan keep walking and reached the basement which looks even messier than the upper area

"Aunty!!" He shouts loudly and breathes heavily.. "Yunlan!!" Yunlan looked upside the stairs and gets shocked as Zhujiu was dragging her at gunpoint "Ahh, let go!" She cried and Zhujiu make her stand in front of Yunlan but he never put down the gun and smirks

"You did a good job by reaching here on time, otherwise...." He glares at her and then at Yunlan.. Aunty was very scared, she looks like she will faint any moment due to the fear, Yunlan feels bad for her and pity her that her own son is doing all this to her

"If you want to take your dear aunty home full fit then sign these property papers, quick!" Zhujiu extends the papers towards Yunlan who was standing silent and in a shocking state "No Yunlan!" Aunty shook her head and Zhujiu shoved her badly

"Hey!!" Yunlan shout and was about to rush but Zhujiu warns him to stay away "She is my aunt....but she is your mother!.. Just for money and property, you are pointing the gun at your own mother? Don't you have any shame?" Yunlan shouts being worried for his aunty

Zhujiu smirks "Nothing is bigger than money, Yunlan!... Money is everything, all relations become blurry in front of the shine of the money..... Sign the papers!!"

Zhujiu throws papers towards Yunlan "No, no! Don't do it Yunlan" Aunty shouts "YOU!!" Zhujiu was about to hit her "Nooo..... I.. I am signing these papers, I am signing them" Yunlan stops him and picks the papers "But promise me, that after getting my signs you will leave my aunty!" He said and Zhujiu nods "Okay!! I will leave her, just sign the papers!"

Yunlan nods and looks here and there, Zhujiu looked at his mother and by getting the chance Yunlan throws a tire towards Zhujiu which makes him startled and the gun dropped from his hand.. Yunlan quickly takes out his gun (Wei's gun actually) and points back at him shocking the other two
