Chapter 10

Chases pov:
We were at the hospital the others went to shower and change. Becky and I were left alone. I was shaking my knees and Becky was trying not to cry. Hey you okay I asked. My brothers been stabbed by my own mother yeah I'm great she said. Hey he will be okay I know Riley he won't give up he will fight everything when he knows he has something to come back to I said. Riley's mum then came through the door. What are you doing here I said. I want to see my son she said. Well you can't because he is in surgery I said. I'll wait she said. You stabbed Riley get out Becky said. Yeah and no she said. She then got a knife out. Stop I said. The police then came in. She aimed the knife and Beckys arm but I put my arm in the way and it stabbed me I fell to the ground. Doctors and nurses surrounded me. The police took their mum out. Becky kneeled beside me. It's going to be okay she said. You need stitches come on he said. They helped me up and Becky was standing in the corner of the room while I got stitches. Becky go you need to be there if there is news I said. She nodded and left.

Tyler's pov:
We got back to the hospital and we saw that Becky and chase weren't there. I then saw Becky come out of a room. Becky I said as I hugged her. How is Riley I asked. He hasn't come out of surgery yet she said. Where's chase Shelby asked. Here is the thing Um mum came in and tried to stab me but chase got in the way and his arm got stabbed he is getting stitches now and the police took mum out she said. Shelby ran to where chase was. But still no news on Riley Kendall said. She shoook her head. We saw Shelby come out with chase. He had a bandage on his arm. Becky hugged him. Thank you for saving me she said. Of course your Riley's little sister and besides you are like a little sister to me he said. She blushed. The doctor then came out. Becky and chase stood up. So Becky said. He's going to be okay and as you know his mum is in custody now we know she hurt chase did she hurt Riley he asked. Becky nodded. Can we see Riley chase asked. He nodded.

Riley's pov:
I slowly opened my eyes I saw bright lights. My side was throbbing it really hurt. I looked towards the door and saw chase and Becky standing there. Chase I said. Riley chase said. Are you okay Becky asked. No my side hurts I said. I can't believe you protected Tyler Becky Said. I had to he's your boyfriend I said. There is something else chase ssid. I saw his arm in a bandage. What happened I asked. Well while we were waiting your mum was going to stab Becky but I put my arm in front of her so that she couldn't reach her chase said. The others then came in. Hey guys I said. I saw Tyler standing in the doorway. Don't be shy come on I said. It's my fault you are here in the first place he said. Becky held his hand. It's not your fault it's my mum who is paying the price Becky said. But I shouldn't have hesitated I should have moved Tyler said. Stop I said. Stop blaming yourself this isn't your fault we don't blame you Becky Said. Tyler nodded. I'm so glad that mum's in prison Becky said. They arrested her I said. Yeah she got arrested because she stabbed chase then they asked us if she was the one who stabbed you and that the fact that you have been abused Becky said. Wow I said. You are free chase said. I can't believe you it I said. Riley you can leave but just please be careful the doctor said. I nodded. Chase and Becky helped me and it took about half a hour. We got back to the base. I sat down. You okay Kendall asked. I nodded.

2 months later:
We were all chatting and laughing until police officers came in. Riley Griffin they said. Yeah I said. We need to talk to you he said. I nodded. The others stayed at the cafe. I was taken into a room. Now if I'm right your mother was put in jail because of abuse and stabbings is that right he said. Yeah I have the marks to prove it I said. That's okay now the judges think your mother should go into a mental hospital as she has had some issues he said. What kind of issues. She had killed 2 other prisoners and we have caught her trying to kill herself he said. Really i said. We need to her help he said. Would she go back to prison as soon as she's better if she does get better I asked. No but she would be out in a care home for adults like her she wouldn't come back and live how she was he said. When is this happening I asked. Tomorrow morning he said. I nodded and I went back to the cafe.

Chases pov:'
What was that about what did they need to tell him Shelby said. I'm getting worried Becky said. Riley then walked in. Riley I said. What did they say Tyler said. Uh it's kinda hard to explain he said. Sit down it's a long story.
