Chapter 4: " what were you thinking about?"

Author pov:

before Damian could say or do anything else, he dropped his sword as he fell to the ground, probably because of his bad condition as well, holding himself up as he stood up hardly again he spoke "...I will be leaving...because I know I won't be able to look at you in the eyes again, Father..." he said as his eyes for once showed emotions...he was...Embarrassed??

-" I am sorry to disappoint you...but I can't see the one who killed my close friends alive...and for y/n..." he said as his eyes went straight on me "...you can come with me...I know father will also quit being the batman..." 

looking at Bruce in shock "what--" Bruce didn't speak or reply he was just staring at Damian "why..." said Y/n as she teared up "a-at least don't make this torn our family apart!" yelled y/n in tears "I know what will happen next!!! Jason leaving and so what?! Dick?!!! he will go back to Blüdhaven?! and god knows where Tim and Alexandra will go!!!? IS THAT WHAT YOU WANNA DO?!! ALL OF YOU?!!!!" she screamed as her voice cracked in anger and in tears.

-"WE WERE SUPPOSE TO FIX THIS AND SOLVE THIS AS A FAMILY!!! AND WHAT YOU DID WAS GOING ON YOUR OWN AND KILLING DEATHSTROKE THINKING IT IS THE CORRECT IDEA?!!!!" shouting your full attention went on Damian now attacking him with words angrily as you walked towards him "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING ABOUT, DAMIAN?!!!" you said grabbing his collar as he just stared down at you through his half torn domino mask.

you could see his green eyes staring down at you making you feel nothing else but more anger building up inside of you because of how emotionless he seemed "I did the right thing..." he answered her blankly as she yelled again "all you did was you becoming a MONSTER!!!".

you pointed at the table and then looked at him "tell me!!! what's the difference between this view and the view of Loza and Alfred lying down dead!!! tell me!!!!" you yelled feeling as if your whole blood boiling and the anger became just too much for you "There is no similarity between them, l/n...this is a villain that got what he deserved..."

you felt Dick's hand grabbing you as he held you close to his chest and you couldn't do anything else except starting at him in disbelief, confusion, and fear, this is not Damian who you knew, this was someone else, someone you wish you never knew, this isn't  Damian who made sure to make his father honored and do the right thing for the sake of Batman and Bruce Wayne.

you cried as you covered your mouth crying heavily while Dick held you hugging you, he just stared at his younger brother in shock too as well, the doors being opened and the windows Al Ghul assassins surrounded the place as Damian spoke to Y/n one last time "...You can come with me y/n...and we will discuss this later..." he said as y/n spoke in a shaky voice "this i-isn't what I signed up for...you are dead in mine..."

without even glancing at him, your words stabbed Damian in the chest as he felt a sudden heartache, this pain was worse than his wounds that were caused by Slade in his fight as Damian's face went back to his normal expression after he had hurt and a shocked one on "...very well...".

without any other words, Damian walked out as the Ghul assassins were still around the place making sure that their future king is safe and sound as they left without doing any harm to any of them, Y/n started to feel her breathing became heavy as she couldn't control her own balance, passing out in Dick's arms who just freaked out "Y/N!!!" he yelled as the last thing you saw was his worried expression before everything turning black.
