I would like to start of as always by thanking you for choosing to read one of my stories! I cannot believe how many people have read the others already this is so unbelievable and if you've read any of the others, I love you and welcome back!
If this is your first time reading any of my works I also love you and I really hope you enjoy!
This is a fanfic based on the film adaptation of 'We Have Always Lived In The Castle' which has lots of Trigger Warnings. Examples: Death, Violence, Murder, Corruption, Blood, Strong Language, Non- PC views/outdated ways of thinking and for this FIC possible smut warnings. Set in the 60s in America, the book/film focuses on the setting of Americans trying to get back to traditionalism after WW2. It's a 'gothic horror' but it should be too scary.
Like with all my works I don't own any of the characters except Y/N ( i own you ;) ahah jokes) but Y/N will be fitted into the storyline as best I can. This is a Charles Blackwood x Reader Story.
I will attempt to keep this story as close the the film as possible, so that you would be able to read along with the film if that makes sense but obviously it is a work of fiction and will stray away in parts and there are obviously major changes.
There is some narrating in the film which again I've made changes to but I want to keep the vibe, so the narrating parts will be in italics.
