CHAPTER |32

Miyeon enters the office and goes straight to her table,

She's been working for 5 months here at Y Ent. but this week it feels like the office room is more empty and quiet,
She glances at Minnie's table.

After the confrontation with Minnie, the Thai didn't come to the office it's been 2 weeks since then. If there are papers that Minnie needed to be signed or anything to be approved, Yuqi or Soojin is the one coming to get the files.

Regardless of what happened to them, Miyeon is still worried for Minnie, thinking that she went overboard with her words. Knowing Minnie's attitude, the Thai really likes to be alone and deal with her own. but knowing her friends they will look after her.

Next week everything will go back to her normal routine because the 6months work contract will be finished Miyeon felt sad somehow but relieved also.

She heaved out a sigh and then fixes the files. She finishes this at home to pass it on to Minnie, since Minnie is not there she will leave the files on her table.

With the files, Miyeon approached Minnie's table and for the first time, she took time to check the table to look at Minnie's things.

This time she can say that Minnie's taste in her personal things changed, it became more strong based on her aura.

She goes to Minnie's swivel chair from the front desk and lets her fingers trail on the armrest making it turn. She checks her notes and still praises her penmanship coz Minnie's handwriting is beautiful and neat.

Files and books are neatly arranged at the table.

Then something caught her eyes, a drawer in the bottom slot is kinda open. It urge her to open it, Miyeon sat down to reach for the handle to open the drawer.

Miyeon gasp in shock at what she saw, suddenly her eyes watered. Miyeon saw a familiar box her heart is pounding. She took the box and under the box, there is an old piece of photo. She opens first the small box, it's Minnie's ring, the partner of her promised ring, and also her gift dahlia pendant which is a duplicate of her necklace.

she also took the piece of old photo paper and when she flipped it, a drop of tear escaped from her eyes. It's their picture from the arcade photo booth, on the photo she's poking Minnie's cheek.

Miyeon suddenly felt that she misses the old times with the specific person.

Why are You still keeping this?
why are you like this Minnie?

Why you're so good making things harder for me to forget you.

Miyeon felt again the guilt. And more questions stream to her mind again...

She put back the picture and box. She stands up and glances at Minnie's table one last time and walks back to her seat.

the door opens, and Miyeon averted her head to look who is it. It's Soojin

"Miyeon Unnie~ Good morning"
Soojin is walking towards her.

After what happens, the girls are always checking her also esp. Yuqi knows that they are all worried for her too she is always thankful for that. But she's telling them not to worry much.

"Minnie yah!!! Get your ass up and work!!!"

Yuqi pulls Minnie's legs, she's lying on her stomach

"Yuqi-ah~~ stop it"
Minnie said in a muffled sound coz her face is on her pillow

"Your paper works are piling up! even the papers that Soojin and I bringing here are unmoved, same as how we put in there!"
