October 13th
Seokjin feels dull.
That's it, that's all there is. He doesn't want to move, he doesn't want to speak to anyone at all. He just wants too lay in bed and look at his ceiling until this day is over. If he has a choice, he will skip this day and move on to the 14th already. It sucks. It sucks that when this day comes every fucking year for the past four years, he is reminded of what he had lost.
Lifting up one of his hand, Seokjin gazed longingly at the ring on his finger. It was just a simple wire hand made to turn into a ring with a heart-shaped design, but to Seokjin, it was the most beautiful thing he has ever owned. A sad smile formed on his lips, memories of a decade ago flooding on his mind.
Image of a doe-eyed innocent Jungkook nervously fidgeting in his place while stroking his nape, taking in a deep breath before shyly looking at an equally flustered, beet red Seokjin and saying the words, "Seokjin, I never know what it feels like to not love you. The first time I met you I knew you were the one for me. And as we get closer and closer, that hope became bigger, up to the point that I cannot imagine a life without you, so, Seokjin, will you make me the happiest man alive by being mine?"
Jungkook is a man of great gestures. He knelt down in front of Seokjin and offered him the ring, "It's not expensive, but I promise you one day, I will kneel again in front of you with a diamond studded ring and I will give you the wedding you deserve. For now, let us settle with this ring I made. I used the wire that I -"
Seokjin remembered pulling Jungkook up and gave him a messy kiss. It was not the kiss you see in the movies or the ones usually written in the books. The kiss they shared is just Seokjin's lips missing Jungkook's own crashing on Jungkook's nose. It made the two laugh before trying to properly kiss which only resulted on another fit of laughter when their heads and their noses bumped together.
"Even if you don't know how to kiss, I still love you, idiot." Seokjin whispered.
"We can always practice, Jin. Actually, we can start now if you like."
They shared a giggle before they successfully kissed.

Seokjin sobbed remembering the day him and Jungkook got together. It was pure and beautiful. And Jungkook fulfilled his promise, kneeling in one knee and proposed to Seokjin with a diamond studded ring. But at that time, Seokjin's business was just starting, he is nervous and he cannot afford to get distracted, so he said no. Jungkook is gracious enough to understand because like he said, a "no" in the proposal to get married is not a "no" to the relationship itself.
Seokjin relaxed when Jungkook assured him that nothing will change and in a blink of an eye, a year had passed, his business is booming and offers of branching out is at his doorstep, carefully, Seokjin planned his every move, meeting with people he knew will do good for his business, studying a bit more about finances and attending seminars, he is dedicated to make his dreams come true. Jungkook is doing well too, his name is slowly getting recognized in the big screen and even got an offer to go to New York to work which he gladly took.
It took Jungkook a month away from Seokjin, and the moment he came back, he proposed one more time. And just like the last time, he was rejected. But this time, Seokjin saw how Jungkook took days before he talked to him again and the amount of liquor he drank is unimaginable. And since that day, Seokjin felt something changed in their relationship. Jungkook felt too faraway from him, and Seokjin cannot accept it, he started resenting Jungkook and accused him of cheating because of how he prefers to stay late at work and come home at the wee hours of the night only to leave early even before Seokjin woke up.
