Monday mornings...they suck. Especially for Megan, she really hates them. The only thing that makes it more tolerable is the fact that today she is having her first day of classes at a new school and she is excited to meet new people. She gets up with a hint of excitement from her bed and goes to the bathroom to get ready for her new day. Megan knows that she shares the bathroom with her father and Bella so she decided to get up a few minutes earlier so she could take a shower without having to stop.

After showering, she wraps her body in a towel and goes back to her room. She is looking in her bags for something to wear since she has not packed all her things in the closet. Too lazy to do it when returning from classes. She thought.

It didn't take long to find something to wear. She put on her underwear, black leggings, a long-sleeved pink sweater, a gray pashmina, and boots the same color as the pashmina. Megan loves to be very well dressed, she likes fashion a lot, especially that of autumn and winter. Taking advantage of the Forks weather, he decided to wear that.

After dressing and combing her hair into a side braid, she went downstairs to the kitchen to find that Bella had already prepared breakfast and was waiting for her to eat. There was no sign of Charlie. Maybe he's gone to work already, she thought.

- Good morning, Bells. It smells delicious. - and it was true, Megan has always liked that Bella cooked breakfast for her.

- Good morning, Meg. Thanks, you ready for school? - Bella asks while sitting at the table.

- Yeah, I am so excited to meet new people. You? You do not look like you are enjoying it. - Megan said with amusement lacing her voice.

- You know that I don't like being the center of attention and I know that because we're new we will be. - Bella sighs.

- Come on! Maybe we will go unnoticed. - Megan said with a hint of doubt behind her words. She knows that being new in a town that is not that populated will bring attention to them.

Bella just sends her a look and continues eating. After breakfast, both girls go upstairs to brush their teeth and grab their bags. They leave the house and each one goes to their corresponding transport. Bella to her truck and Megan to her motorcycle.

- I will see you there, Bells. Just behind you. - Megan tells her while she is getting on her motorcycle. Bella just mutter an okay.

Bella started down the road and Megan followed her from behind. After a few minutes they arrived at the school where they found all eyes on them. I mean, a truck that makes a lot of noise plus the noise of the motorcycle engine. And do not forget to mention that it is not very common to see a student arriving on a motorcycle. Megan parks in front of a silver Volvo across the parking lot and next to Bella. She takes off her helmet and delicately gets off her motorcycle and goes to wait for Bella to get out of her truck.  All eyes were on them and people could be seen whispering. Bella finally got out of the truck with her eyes on the floor and both girls started their way towards the entrance of the school under people's watchful eye. Megan, head high, stares back at them and gives her best smile which some of them correspond.

- Bells, stop shaking. I can feel your arm hitting mine. - Megan says with a grimace as she moved her arm. Bella opens her mouth to talk but Megan sends her a look.

- Megan and Bella enter the first building that says "Central Office" and they find a woman behind a desk.

- Can I help you? - says the lady with a bored tone.

- Yes, we are Isabella and Megan Swan. - Bella replies and her eyes show that she recognizes them. Sure, the gossip must be running down the hallways. The Chief Swan's daughters are at home.

- Of course, wait a second. - the woman dugs through a pile of documents and she pulls two of them. - Here are your schedules and a school map for both of you. - She shows them the papers with the information and explains a little about the schedule. After that, she hands them over and the girls go out, not without first thanking the lady.

- It seems that we have almost all the classes together, we only have Arts and English at different times. - Bella says examining the schedules. Megan nods and grabs the paper with the map drawn on it.

- We have to go, you don't want to be late for class. - Meg says starting to look for the classroom where they will have their first class, Math. What a way to start the day, Megan thought.

As they were looking for their classroom, a voice was present and scares them both. They turn to see an Asian boy with black hair giving them a smile that Megan instantly reciprocates, the boy inspires her confidence.

- You both are Isabella and Megan Swan, right? - he says with a cheerful personality.

- Bella. - she corrects him.

- You can call me Meg. - the girl says offering her hand for him to shake which the boy gladly accepts.

- My name is Eric. - he moves to stand between both of them and takes their schedules. - Where is your next class? - he checks the schedules and smiles. - You have the first one with Ms. Smith. Let me tell you that she is a bitter woman, I suggest we go to the class. - Eric takes their arms and gently guides them to a door some meters down the hall.

- Well, here we are. I hope you will enjoy your day and I will see you both at lunch. - he says while walking bakwards and running for his class.

Megan and Bella enter the classroom and go with the teacher who is standing in front of the blackboard to give her a sheet that she has to sign. The teacher looks them up and down and shows them their places.

- Isabella, sit right here. - the teacher points to a table in the front right corner of the class. - Megan Swan, sit right there. - she points to a table with a free spot next to a girl with golden wavy hair. Wow, she is the most beautiful human being in the world, Megan thinks in awe. I hope we can be friends. That thought vanishes when she sees the face that the girl makes when she sees her and Megan turns to her under her watchful eye.

Megan sits down and puts her bag on the floor next to her. She takes a quick glance at the blonde next to her to find that she's looking at her too. Megan blushes and looks down in shame. Wait, why should I be ashamed if I haven't done something wrong? Meg thinks with a frown. After that, she lifts her head and looks back at the girl with a smile and turns with her head held high without noticing the surprise on the blonde's face. How do you see that, Blondie? Her smirks never falters.
