P.O.V  Narrator

Megan and Bella Swan are in the Forks hospital emergency rooms. Bella doesn't plan to separate from her sister. Megan scared everyone a few hours ago and Bella is the one who continues to suffer the most. The thought of losing her sister brings tears to her eyes. Bella can't live without Megan. Her sister sees how Bella is about to burst into tears and puts an arm around her shoulders and brings her closer.

- Bells, I'm fine. Nothing happened to me. - Megan tries to keep her voice in a delicate tone, she also knows that she couldn't live in peace if something ever happens to Bella.

- I know, it's just...you scared me too much. For a moment I thought I was going to lose you. - Bella sighs and hugs her sister with both arms. The moment is being interrupted by Tyler (the guy from the van).

- Meg, Bella. I'm so sorry. I tried to stop. - he says regretfully and it clenches Megan's heart. He didn't have the fault, he just lost control with the icy pavement. Although, it does anger her that Bella could have been in danger.

- It's fine, Tyler. As long as it wasn't Bella who was in danger. - her sister sends her a glare. She is not so fond of Megan putting her life ahead of hers.

Nobody present can say anything because Charlie suddenly enters the room and goes directly to where his daughters are. When he received the call that an accident had occurred at Forks High School and that his daughters had been involved, he didn't hesitate to rush to the hospital praying to whoever would listen that his girls were safe. He arrives next to them and gives Bella a quick check to see that there is no wound in sight and the only thing he notices is how much she sticks to Megan without letting go of her hand. His eyes go to Megan, who has a tired expression and although she doesn't want to admit it, she is scared. Charlie can see a bandage sticking out of her sweater around her shoulder.

- Megan, are you okay? - concern is evident in his voice.

- I'm fine, Dad. Seriously, it was nothing that big. - she tries to reassure Charlie because she knows that he isn't taking all of the events calmly.

- Megan, I'm really sorry. - Tyler intervens. That's when Charlie realizes the boy, who is being treated for his injuries, next to them and it doesn't take a genius to know that he is the one who was driving the van.

- You and I are going to talk about this. - Charlie points at him with a hard look.

- Dad, it's okay. I'm fine, really.  - Megan tries to calm his Dad.

- He could have killed you, Megan, and Bella could have gotten hurt. - Both sisters grim at that.

- But he didn't and Bella is fine, I made sure myself that she didn't get hurt. - Charlie pays close attention to what his daughter says and realizes that Bella may have been hurt in that accident but Megan must have put her life before her sister's. Charlie didn't know what to think about it, he knew that Megan did it with the intention of saving Bella and he couldn't be more grateful for that, but he didn't like the idea that Megan thought of others before her own health.

Before they can say anything else, the doors of the room open and a doctor enters through them who, if it weren't for the gown and medical instruments, would identify himself as a model. Neck-length blonde hair, her toned body could be seen behind his clothes, soft ocher eyes, and he is extremely pale. Megan instantly realizes that he is Dr. Cullen, the Cullens' adoptive father and the most sought-after doctor for women.

Well, he definitely has his thing.

- Heard the Chief's daughters were here. Nice to see you, Charlie. - Both men greet each other with nods.
