Surprise

The months dragged on and Finkel's nightmares were on and off. He was surprised Klaus hadn't acquired them yet. 

"Are you sure your dreams are normal?" The blond asked

"Yeah, I haven't had any of those nightmares you've been having" Klaus replied "Maybe I will I don't know"

"I hope you don't, they aren't fun and I don't want all these repressed memories coming back up" Finkel said

"Depends what they are" Klaus mumbled 

"Anyways I was thinking, could we get a dog?" Finkel asked

"Do you think the other two would be fine with it?" 

"Well we've actually been talking and of course they'd be fine with it" Finkel said

"Alright then we can get one, should we surprise them with it?" Klaus asked

"Hell yeah!" 

"When exactly?" 

"To be honest I didn't think I'd get this far, um end of the week maybe?" Finkel suggested

Klaus glanced over at the calendar "I think it'll work out I can hopefully get one in the morning so when they get home they'll get a surprise"

"Sounds good, want me to go with?" Finkel asked

"You can if you want"

As Klaus promised he took Finkel out to pick out a dog. He glanced over to see the blond excitedly squirming. He chuckled "Your excited"

"Hell yeah I can't wait to have a furry friend" Finkel said, he was practically bouncing off the walls. 

Klaus got out and Finkel followed behind. "So what exact breed were you thinking?"

"Honestly don't mind they are all adorable"

The two looked around for a bit. 

"So see anything that catches your eye?" Klaus asked

"Hm, do you?" Finkel looked over at him

"Yeah, but I want to make sure we both like it"

"Alright show me"

Klaus led him to a little German Shepard puppy. 

The dog wagged its tail in excitement, and barked. 

"Isn't it cute?"

"Obviously" Finkel gave the dog a pat "I believe this is a boy by the way"

"Okay then, you think this is the one?" 

"Yeah, he's so sweet" 

The two spent the day getting supplies and all, then heading home. 

"I think we should let Jojo and Elsa come up with names and we'll all see what the favorite is" Klaus suggested

"Fine with me"

They ended up letting the dog run around in the backyard, it would be about an hour till the other two got home. 

Finkel sat outside and watched, while Klaus was putting everything together. 

The brunette had finally finished up when the door swung open and Jojo came running in, Elsa following behind. 

"Whatcha doing dad?" Jojo asked

"Doing a few things, how was your day?" Klaus was playing it cool
