My heart was beating a million beats per second. The anxiety spread like wild fire through my veins. the fear this girl ignites inside of me, grows as big as my attraction to her. I am scared. No .. NO NO I am terrified, frightened even. that smile that hooks me in then stabs in the back. That look that draws me in but leaves me behind. I could never tell what she has up her sleeves if she was indeed sincere or she just wanted to play unfair. "what are you up to huh?! why are you doing this ? Is this some kind of a joke ? trying to get on my good side so that you get to laugh when you stab me in the back!" my tone kept getting higher and higher until I was basically yelling. My breathing was irregular and I kept grasping for air. "No! this is a misunderstanding! "her voice sounded like cries as she struggled to redeem herself so I glanced at her. her eyes screamed sincere but I.. I couldn't trust her. Why do you torment me so ? why is this so unbelievably heart wrenching than its supposed to be. She extended her hand to touch mine. The gesture was extremely delicate. As if I was a dandelion that would fly away with the smallest wind. I loved it. I really did, but I couldn't afford to be swept away. I drew my hand aggressively and pointed at her. "I AM NOT YOUR PLAYTHING ! STAY AWAY!"  her eyes were brimming with anguish. I hurt her. But it was to protect me. I quickly left to join the other on the table fearing that regret over her sad eyes, would consume me.  

"She stays .. I'll be keeping an eye on her." I declared to Boon in regards of Namaari. Then I shifted my focus to Sisu. "I can't believe it ... that old lady was really gonna hurt me ... " She said in disbelief. "well, I'm sorry Sisu, but that's what the world is now. You can't trust anyone" I replied sarcastically. "But Namaari saved me!" she chirped enthusiastically. I remained silent. after my argument with Namaari I had no energy left to explain to miss idealistic beliefs that one good deed doesn't translate as good intentions. "I'm tired .. I'll be sleeping with Tuktuk.." I was lying, I could never sleep with Namaari around. She makes me restless. I had to protect the gem pieces and Sisu thus I stayed alert.

Late at night I noticed Sisu couldn't sleep so I went up to her. "Hey.." I said reluctantly. "I see you couldn't sleep ..." She looked deep in thoughts, trying to figure out a big dilemma. "Yeah .. being human is hard ... they have small heads, no tails, you lie to get what you want, like the talon chief bath there ..." Sisu looked really down. I think she couldn't handle the deceit with Talon's chief. "yeah well the world is broken, you can't trust anyone" my answer reeked with Melancholy, even though I tried to conceal it.  "Or maybe the world is broken because you don't trust anyone ! Look at how Namaari saved me!" She mentioned enthusiastically. "you sound just like my pa" Indeed, that sounded so nostalgic in a way ..."Well he sounds like a smart man !" she added. "Yeah he was. I really wanted to believe him, I really wanted to believe that we could be Kumandra again." Now these dreams sound like an echo of the past. "And we can !" Ugh ! "Literally thousands of people turned to stone where to argue otherwise." It may sound sardonic but it was the truth.. "That doesn't mean you shouldn't try !" Sisu insisted. "And I did, and you know what happened ? I got kicked in the back by someone who gave me a gift ! Look around, we're a world of orphans because people couldn't stop fighting over a gem ! Wanna know why other dragons didn't come back ? It's because people don't deserve them !" I am really done with SiSu's shitty idealistic dream world ..."But you can change that !" She asserted. "No Sisu I am done trying ! Kumandra is a fairytale. The only thing important to me now is bringing my pa back ..." Why can't she understand ...

"Humm, I think we're in spine." announced Boon. In front of us stood a daunting forest of gargantuan trees engulfed in fog. It was intimidating to say the least, but Sisu did not care apparently, she grabbed the pot and hopped off the boat. "Hey ! my kanji !" Screamed Boon. But Sisu did not listen as she went deeper into the forest. "Don't go anywhere we'll be right back !" I said while rushing after her. "Sisu come back please ! Wha-, What are you doing ?" I pleaded super panicked. "Im going to show you that you're wrong !" She shouted determined. Determined to get us killed ! "How ? by getting squashed by a bunch of spine rages !?" I questioned out of my mind. "Nooo by proving to you that if you want to get someone's trust ,you have to give a little trust first." she added cheerfully while grabbing the door knocker. "Sisu don't-" it was a trap. Ugh.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter ! not my best work gotta admit but passable ig! i think its because i wanted to stay faithful to the original story that i ended up coping most of dialogue T_T at this rate we can finish in 2 to 3 chapters so stay tuned for more :D
