The Beginning of the End

Chapter 2

Daniella's POV
"It's just me , Go ahead and get changed and we can meet in the gym!" Our coach says, startling me from the loud voice.
"Got it" We all said.
I grab my clothes out of my bag and put my bag back in my locker, I change out of my lovely outfit and put on some athletic wear, and some new deodorant, What? You never know who you'll meet
After I was done I started heading up to the gym.
As I enter the gym with the 2 other girls from the locker room straying behind me, I see everyone else in the gym. The smell of sweat hits my nostrils, probably from the boys gym class last period. As I look around inspecting everyone around, It's mainly guys, Go figure man they can't just let us have something. I see about 6 girls though counting myself and the girls from the locker room. The chatter of everyone rised just as fast as they fell when the teacher came in.
"Welcome to archery practice! As you may have seen, If you look over here you will see the racks and bows, and over there are the arrows. I like it old fashioned if you cant tell by the leather waist quiver. These are very nice thick wood so I beg of you all to keep these in good conditions!, Everyone go get your bows and arrows and I will separate you into two groups!"
Everyone one walks towards the bows whilst I head over to get my 12 arrows. After we all get our bows we stand in a line getting ready for our groups.
"Reese and Autum! You two will be in a group and, Finally Felix and Daniella will be in a group." The teacher said while looking at her clipboard. I look ever to see a 6''0 guy wearing a gray t-shirt with black gym shorts, "Doesn't this guy have anything better to wear, I mean its not bad"
"Hi, I'm Felix Hart" He held his hand out to me, an obvious tan line were im guessing a ring goes.
"Daniella Baker" I say shaking his hand back.
I see the teacher walking up to us after checking up after anothe group. "So I see you have met each other" She says with her booming voice, "So..." She goes on to teach us both how to properly shoot the bow, I would say we got it down pretty well. After that the coach left to go check up on another group.
"Well I guess it's just us now." I say hoping to at least make conversation
"Yup." Is all he said as we both went back to shooting the target.

Time skip to after practice

Reese's POV
"OKAY everyone!!!! Practice is over so put everything away and go get changed, The gym door will be unlocked as I'm leaving, Make sure you have everything as all of the school doors will be locked after 8:30 automatically" The teacher says as she grabs her stuff and starts walking across the gym to the doors.
We all head down to the locker rooms, somehow I am still being pushed even though there isn't that many of us. As we enter I see the girls rushing to get their stuff, all but 2 of them. I head over to my locker and Im just in the my black sports bra as I'm trying to pull of my skinny jeans. "Shit...It's already 8:20..." I whisper.
"WHAT, really. I'm barely changed." A girl with beautiful orange hair and emerald green eyes says. She is super pretty I mean, She is wearing dark ripped skinny jeans, and a white sports bra.
"Yeah I still need to get my pants on and brush my hair, and a lot more." A girl with medium lengthed hair and curtain bangs with her freckles, Autumn, She was my partner for practice.
I quickly finish putting on my skinny jeans and put on a light grey shirt then put on a flannel and jacket on. I also finish putting on my black and white converse. I look over to see the two girls, "Do you want me to wait for you guys? You know so we can all get out safely" I ask them. "Yes please, I'm almost done" Autumn says rushing. "Yes, I would really appreciate it, I'm Daniella." The orange haired girl said. "Reese Simons" I say looking at her. "....And I'm Autumn Knight!!" Autumn said excitedly. "All of us done" I ask making sure. "Yup!" Daniella and Autumn said at the same time. We all grab our bags and start heading to the doors not bothering to check our phones.
"Want me to knock on the doors, You know to make sure no one is left." I say as I see the boys locker room door infront of us. "Yeah go ahead, dont wanna leave anyone behind." Autumn says. "Yeah, Of course you can, but can we hurry this up...I hate the dark" Daniella says with a, worried face. "Don't worry" I say as I knock on the door. "Yes" We hear a voice call back. "Hello, We are just making sure everyone is out before we leave, dont want anyone locked in." I say calling back.
After a few seconds a tall boy walks out, He's has medium length hair and is wearing a tan baggy turtleneck sweater slightly tucked into his white pants. "Sorry It took a while, my boyfriend texted me, but hi, I'm Felix Hart." He says awkwardly. "I'm Reese" I say as we start heading towards the doors. "Im Autumn." She says bouncing "How does someone have so much energy?". "I'm Daniella, but you know that since we were partners in practice." We all start having small chatter as we are walking towards the doors. We finally reach the doors. I try pushing the doors only to be disappointed when they dont budge. "Uh,...What time is it guys." I ask a little worried for the answer to come. Felix opens his phone to see "..It's 8:35" He says looking at us nervous of what was to come. "FUCK" "What's wrong??" Autumn says alarmed, obviously not liking the loud noise. "THE DOORS LOCK AT 8:30 WE ARE LOCKED IN HERE!!"
We all start complaining realizing we were locked in here for the night. We all pace and complain, I'm panicking so badly, I fall to the floor with my face in my knees and back to the cold door. "I hate to be that person since I really dont like dealing with feelings but, Are you okay Reese." Daniella says stopping in her tracks and looking at me. "To be honest, I'm all over the place, I mean i'm happy i'm not at home, but I don't wanna stay at the school either. I mean...I'm pretty sure I can call you friends." I say looking up. "Yeah, of course you can call is friends!" Felix says with a face full of compassion. "Yeah, of course dude" Daniella says copying Felix's face. "Yeah." Autumn says but not before I see the face of nervousness cloud her face. "I'll ask later."
Felix then looks up from me to look outside, I see his face drop. "Um, Not to alarm you guys but, look outside." I stand up and turn around as the others look outside. The outside was alarming, no cars in the parking lot, street lights that you could see from the door no longer on. Everything looked drained of color and abandoned. "Where did everyone go." Daniella says staring blankly outside.
"Not everyone, everything." Autumn says monotone. "It looks so devoided of everything." Daniella whispers. "Yeah.." was all Felix could say. "Guys, I dont really feel safe just standing here by the doors." Autumn says snapping us all out of looking towards the outside. "We should head to Mr.Coopers room, It's big and he just got those new doors, they are strong and have a different lock." Autumn says as we start to walk to his classroom.
