Vic’s pov
The tour with Ryan was boring. He just showed me where everything was at like the cafeteria, library, and counselor. I was just waiting for the tour to be over so I could go find Kellin.

Last night was weird. I mean I don’t know if Kellin trust me or not, although he seemed to I wasn’t sure if he just needed someone to trust him.
My feet are starting to hurt from continues walking down the long hallways this is the third time I’ve gotten lost from looking for my room. Ok my room number is 367, there’s 350 so I must be close. There sure are a lot of rooms here. But I haven’t really seen kids around here. 360 come on, just seven more doors. I met this kid name Andy though, he’s really cool. Yes! 367, finally. I opened the door and went into the room. Kellin wasn’t there crap!   Where even is Kellin? I didn’t see him at lunch now that I think about it.

I jumped back about a mile when I heard the door open. That’s when I finally got my first real look at Kellin. He was tall, his hair was raven black and straight. It fell over his eyes, his amazing deep green eyes. I looked down at his lips, they looked soft and pink. I couldn’t help but wonder what they would feel like against mine. Is Kellin even gay? Probably not, I mean maybe. We did technically hold hands last night but that was for comfort right?

“Hi.” I managed to choke out. Kellin looked at me then ran to the rest room and slammed the door. I walked over to the door and knocked on it.

“Kellin, is everything ok?” I asked

“G-go away!” Kellin yelled. I knew at that point there was nothing I could do. I should just let him have privacy. I can’t ruin this relationship (not that it really was anything). I need to be his friend. I need to learn him, and maybe one day we could be something more. I shuffled my way towards my bed and sat down. Oh Kellin if you only knew how I felt about you.

Kellin’s POV

I ran down the hallway searching for my room. As soon as I found it I yanked the door open. I saw vics eyes land on me. CRAP! I forgot he was here.

“Hi.” Vic blurted out. No….I can’t talk right now.

I darted into the restroom and slammed the door behind me. I dashed over to the cupboard pulling it open searching for my box. I heard a knock that startled me.

“Kellin is everything okay?” I heard Vic ask through the door.

No, everything is not okay!

“G-go away!” I yelled at him, my voice cracking.

I continued my search for my box. I finally found it under some toilet paper. I opened it and took out my blade and pressed it against my pale wrist. I could feel the tears swelling up in my eyes. My face grew hot with frustration. I slid the blade over my wrist. The sight of red was reliving, nice to know I’m only human. I need more! I began slicing over and over. Each cut representing why I was a horrible person. I dropped the blade on the floor and ran to the sink. I quickly washed off the blood and wrapped my arm in gauze from under the sink.

“I just want to be okay...” I whispered to myself, tears streaming down my face and falling onto the counter. I collapsed on the floor and slowly started rocking back and forth whispering the same sentence over and over.
‘’I just want to be okay.’’
‘’I just want to be okay’’

Vic’s POV

‘’I just want to be okay.” I heard Kellin faintly say from the bathroom.

I immediately got up and rushed over to the door, I knocked several time but got no answer.

“Kellin!? Are you okay!?” I heard him cry and let out a small whimper.

“Kellin...Kellin…?” I raised my voice a little bit.

“Kellin answer me!” I said through the door.

“Kellin I’m coming in!”

I reached down for the door handle and pulled the door open. Kellin was on the floor crying. Blood was all over the sink and next to Kellin was a razor blade. I fell to my knees. I looked over at Kellin’s arm and saw that it was covered in blood stained gauze. I crawled over to Kellin.

“K-Kellin, why? Why did you do this?”

Kellin looked up at me with his blood shot puffy eyes.

“Be-because everyone hates me.” He whimpered out “And I h-hate me to!”
I sighed and looked down at Kellin with tears forming in my eyes.

“I don’t hate you at all. K-Kellin.”

“L-Lies!” Kellin screamed at me

“Kellin, I don’t know you very well, but I do know that you’re amazing. And that I want a beautiful relationship with you Kellin.” I blurted out

Kellin looked up at me with his green eyes.

“I-I love y-you Kellin.”

Kellin stopped looking at me. He scurried into the corner. I tried moving closer but he got up and ran out of the room. I got up and quickly followed him, but he was too fast. By the time I got too the door Kellin was already half way down the hall way.

“Kellin wait!”
