Twenty seven days after

The school was shut down due to the large and sudden amount of deaths. The media got to the school doors, with cameras and news reporters and noisy, pushy journalists trying to get a good story.

The Eagle eventually closed the doors for good. Students were sent home. Teachers laid off.

The day the school grounds were empty would be the day he left. He had promised himself that he would be the last one to see the school campus he had once loved.

He strolled along the sidewalks of the campus, humming quite cheerfully for a man who had just lost his school. He walked the campus until his taxi cab arrived, since his car was clearly unusable. Taking one last look at his school, he chuckled. The chuckle turned into a cackle.

He opened the car door, thinking, "I hated them all anyway." He slammed the door and was driven away, the doors of Culver Creek to stay closed forever.
