Tears started to fall from my eyes. I couldn't believe what I saw in Jk's texts. I understood I was too late. It's all my fault. I pushed her when she came to me. But now, she's no more mine. In fact, she deserves Jk's love more than anyone. He was with her all the time. I'm nothing in front of him. I tried to digest that they are together but I'm unable to even imagine it. A knock on the door broke my thoughts.
"Oppa, please eat something" Hae rin begged me.
"Please leave me Hae rin ah" was all I could say before bursting into tears in front of her.
She panicked looking at me. I wiped up my tears and said I need to be alone. She went back looking at me worried. All I could think was about Y/n... Her smile is no more for me. Her love is the biggest thing I lost in my life.
Can I get that back? Probably not right?
Next day:
You saw Taehyung bringing files to you. He entered and all you could see was his pale face. You stood up from your chair and went near him.
"Taehyung ah, what happened? Why do you look so pale?" You touched his face but he slapped away your hand.
"I'm fine, you need to sign these files," he said giving the files to your hand.
"Okay, did you had your breakfast?" You asked him out of concern.
"No, I'm not feeling like it" he replied.
"But I'm hungry. Come, let's go to the canteen" you drag him to the canteen.
He didn't try to oppose you as he was weak. He ate along with you and went back to his work.
A week passed. All he did was doing his work and having small talks with you. Jk picked you up and dropped you all these days. Taehyung didn't even dare to ask about your relationship. Hae rin learned work from you at times and spent two evenings with you. She talked about Taehyung's behavior which you both could probably guess. It's weekend and Taehyung decided to leave first as his work is over.
"Oppa, shall we go for a drink?" Hae rin asked Taehyung after he got into the house.
He agreed and they both left to have dinner outside. Taheyung took his sister to a nice street bar and they ordered their meals and Soju. Taehyung didn't drink much as he needs to drive home with her but Hae rin got drunk and started to talk random things. Tae started to tell Hae rin about his love as he knew Hae rin doesn't remember anything she hears or says while drunk.
"So you loved her?" Hae rin asked sipping her shot.
"I did and I still do" Tae replied.
"Good, that's what we want" she replies confusing Tae.
"What do you mean sis?" He asked but she didn't reply as she was texting someone.

"Woohoo, finally Kookie proposed me" Hae rin shouted with joy.
"Kookie? You mean Jungkook?" Taehyung asked skeptically.
"Yes bro, finally he didn't stop loving me after all these years. God, I'm so happy" she exclaimed happily.
"Wth are you talking Hae rin, Jungkook and Y/n are dating right? How could he love you when he's with her?" Taehyung asked her.
"Did y/n ever said you herself that they both are dating?" Hae rin asked after calming down.
"No, she didn't even raise his name," Taehyung said playing with his fingers.
"See, yet didn't you get it? It's all an act" Hae rin stated.
"What? Elaborate it Kim Hae rin, I'm losing my patience" Taehyung exclaimed.
"Cool..Jungkook and I planned this act so that you would open up at least after knowing this. Y/n unnie was so against it but we forced her. That's why she never brought the topic of Jk and her. Yet all you did was remaining calm. We really lost hope but finally, you said it now" Hae rin spilled the tea and Taehyung was totally shocked hearing this.
Happiness filled his heart knowing it's all an act.
"Thank God" he shouted.
"Hae rin ah, let's go" he dragged her into the car.
He pulled the gear to Y/n's house. He carefully brought Hae rin inside and made her sleep in the guest room.
"This isn't our house right?" Hae rin asked.
"Yes, I need to see y/n. Sleep here for now" he replied and left the room.
He ran to her room and opened it without knocking. Your eyes widened seeing Tae at this late.
"Taheyung ah, what are you--" you were interrupted by his soft lips on yours.
You froze for a while but returned the kiss.
"I love you so much Y/n ah. I broke down knowing that you and Jk are in relation. I know I'm a coward but please don't leave me. I indeed pushed you away for nothing, cause I was so afraid of my fate and Hae rin but now I don't care anymore. I got this second chance to make you mine. Please be mine," he confessed to her breaking the kiss.
"Sorry Tae, sorry for that stupid act. I love you so much and I promise I'll never leave you," you replied him looking at his eyes.
"Hae rin spilled everything after getting drunk. And you know what, Jk and Hae rin are in love" he exclaimed.
"I know it for ages" you replied giggling.
"And you hid that from me?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Sorry," you said pecking his cheek.
He pulled you closer and placed his lips on yours leaving you with a deep passionate kiss. You both talked for some time and you ended up sleeping in his arms. The next day, all the four met in your office. Jk and Tae had a silly fight and Tae agreed to his relation with Hae rin. You all ended up being happy together.
After three years :
"Shall we go for the meeting Mrs.Kim?" CFO Kim Taehyung asked you, giving his hand.
You held it and both of you walked into the meeting room. The meeting started and all the opinions about the next project were discussed with you and your husband.
"Ma'am, shall I schedule your meet with Mr.John this evening? It will be nice if you both can talk to him over dinner" your secretary Ms.Park asked you.
"No, we can't meet after working hours. Schedule it to brunch tomorrow" you replied.
All of the members tried to convince you to settle this today evening itself. Your anger mode got on.
"Why the hell should we work even after working hours? Will Mr.John die if we can't talk to him today? I and my husband are planning to have kids so please spare us some time after work" you yelled and stomped out of the meeting room.
"Her anger issues are getting more lately" a board member mumbles to another while Taehyung observed it.
"Does that bother you? If yes then no one will stop you from resigning" he exclaimed at that member.
"Sorry sir" he replied bowing at Taheyung.
Taheyung left the meeting room and came to you.
"Calm down Yeobo," he said back hugging you.
"Sorry babe, I really need to see a therapist right?" You asked turning to him.
"Why do you even need to, when you have me?" He replied giggling at you.
"Yes, yes you are my everything" you replied pecking his lips
