135.Fever

Sid (worried, patting her cheeks) : Avu Avu... What happened? Utho...

(He picked her up and again touched her forehead. He got shocked as he felt her body burning. He laid her down on bed. He called his mom)

SM : Hello beta...

Sid : Mumma... Avu is having high fever. What should I do?

SM : Oh god. Ok see. Make her eat medicines then put wet clothes on her forehead. And still her fever didn't go then take her to hospital quick.

Sid : Okay mom

(Saying this he hung up the call. He quickly find the medicine and went to her with water and clothes. He patted her cheeks. But nothing happened. He sprinkled some water and she open her eyes.

He quickly made her eat medicine and lay her down. He then started putting wet clothes on her forehead. After some time he stopped. He checked her temperature but it was still high. He got more worried.

He stayed awake all night checking her temperature time to time. In morning, he felt her temperature down. He sighed in relief. He messaged in office that he iss not coming. Also he mailed Aditya from Avu's phone that she is not coming.

Then he looked at her. She was still sleeping. He was feeling sad looking at her. He got up and layed beside her. He put his hand on her back and pulled her closer. She stirred a lit and snuggled into him. He hand automatically moved towards the buttons of his shirt. He got happy as she did some movement on her own.

Without wasting any second he quickly opened first three buttons of his shirt and put her head on his chest. She recognized it and put her head inside his shirt and clutched his shirt in her baby fist. Sid sighed happily. He kissed her head and put her in his embrace.

He was caressing her hair softly. But after some time he felt asleep there. After about 2 hours he got up by the movement of Avu. She was moving in his embrace. He looked down and saw her struggling to turn as she was inside his shirt. He quickly pulled her out and made her turn. She got silent and rubbed her eyes with her fists.

She was still in sleep. Sid checked her temperature and it was quiet high. He sighed and made her sleep patting her back slowly. He got up and took bath and got fresh. He took out some fruits and made a juice. He didn't eat anything. He went out and saw the time. It was late so he thought to wake her up as she must be hungry.

He went towards her and saw she was still sleeping peacefully. He turned her and shook her)

Sid : Avu... Get up baccha... See you must be hungry na... Get up...

(Avu just stirred. Sid sighed and again shook her.)

Sid : Get up baby. Take bath and then sleep.

(She didn't budge a little.)

Sid (in mind) : Now what to do? She must take bath with cold water. Otherwise how she will get cure? What now? I can't make her bath. I have to do something.

(He looked at her and sighed. He went to cupboard and took out the bathrobe and her clothes. He put them in washroom. He went to her and picked her up. He just opened the buttons of her shirt and made her stand there and turn on the shower. As soon as cold water touched her body she shot up)

Sid : Shant shaant. You are in washroom under shower. Nothing else.

(She again closed her eyes and leaned to Sid. Sid sighed. He also went under shower and made her stand under it. He rubbed her body softly and opened her hair. He rubbed her hair and give a little massage. Then he was done.

He made her wear her bathrobe and picked her up. He went outside and made her sit on chair. He went and brings her clothes. He put them on her lap)

Sid (shaking her) : Avu baby change your clothes fast. You will catch cold. Please baccha. Get up and change your clothes na. I will come in five minutes. Ok?

(Avu just nodded. She was feeling weak and dizzy. Sid smiled and went out. He changed his clothes and dry his hair as it can affect Avu. He came back but stood at a distance)

Sid : Avu are you done?

Avu : Hmm

(He went inside and saw her top buttons are still open. He went and put her bathrobe and their clothes in washing bag. He went to Avu and closed the buttons of her shirt. He picked her up and made her sit on bed near the window. He opened the window and let the sunlight fall on her.

She felt relaxed. He went and started drying her hair with a soft towel. He dried her hair completely. Then he brought juice and medicines. He made her drink the juice forcefully and made her eat medicines. He ate some fruits and drank the water.

He checked her temperature. It was normal but she was still weak. He sat near window and pulled her on his lap. He made her face him and she quickly snuggled into him and hugged him keeping her both legs around his torso. He hugged her back snd stayed like that.

He caressed her hair slowly. She again drifted to sleep as she was weak. He sighed and layed on bed in that position only. Avu was on top of him sleeping. They slept again)
