Let me take care of you

Sasha felt like she had been waiting for hours for word on how Bayley was doing. Sasha didn't want to leave the waiting room and hoped she could stay with Bayley. "Here you go, Sasha. I thought you would need this." Finn said. "Thank you," Sasha said. "Don't worry, all I put in it was cream. I wasn't sure if you add sugar, so I brought a package for you." Finn said. "Oh, I forgot about Bayley horses. I need to get out to the house to ensure they are fed and brushed." Sasha said in a panic. "Relax, I had Frank go over to Bayley's house, and he agreed to take care of the horses. I told him Bayley won't be back until tomorrow and she would need help until she was better. He doesn't mind helping out Bayley; it gives him something to do." Finn said.

"Did you and Bayley ever date?" Sasha asked, not sure why she asked. Sasha wasn't sure if she wanted to know the answer. "Yes, we did, but Bayley felt I was more of a brother to her than a lover," Finn said. "Do you know if Bayley dated anyone else?" Sasha asked. "No, she hasn't; she threw herself into her work and became a top agent," Finn said. "She never dated AJ or Carmella?" Sasha said. "No, she only saw both of them as just friends. Carmella tried, but Bayley never saw anything more than just a friend. It really didn't end well with them because Carmella pushed to hard. Her and Becky have only been friends. You are the first one I've seen that let her guard down. I can tell she cares for you." Finn said.

About 30 minutes later, Becky finally came out to talk to Sasha. "Hello, how are you holding up?" Becky asked. "I'm doing ok; how is Bayley doing?" Sasha asked, "Everything went well, and we will be moving Bayley into a private room. You are more than welcome to stay with Bayley. I have set it up so you can stay the night." Becky informs Sasha. "Thank you; I don't want to go home without her," Sasha tells Becky. "Bayley said the same thing before we put her under. I already informed the nurses you will be staying with her." Becky said. "How long do I have to wait until I can see her?" Sasha asked. "I will check and come back and get you," Becky said, getting up and walking over to the nurses' station.

Sasha felt relief that Bayley's surgery went well and she would be ok. Sasha decided that she would work from home and take care of Bayley. Sasha wonders why Bayley didn't date anyone after breaking up with Finn. Bayley was attractive and wondered why no one went after her. Sasha was happy that Bayley wasn't dating anyone, but why didn't Bayley allow anyone to get close to her? Sasha wanted to know the answer to her question and was glad that she could call Bayley hers. "Sasha, are you ready to go see Bayley? The nurses just brought her to her room, and don't worry, and it's a private room." Becky pointed out.

"Becky, have you known Bayley for a long time?" Sasha asked. "Yes, since high school! Why do you ask?" Becky asked. "Well, Finn said Bayley hasn't dated anyone after she broke up with him. I was wondering why?" Sasha asked. Sasha watched Becky to see if she would avoid the question. "Bayley never knew who she could trust. Bayley comes from a rich family, and she felt that was why they wanted to be with her. She did go on dates, but nothing never lasted. Plus, she was on assignment a lot, so it's hard to be committed to anyone. She dated Finn in High School and realized that she wasn't into him. She looked at him like he was a brother." Becky said.  "Thank you for answering my questions," Sasha said.

"No problem, I'm happy that Bayley found you. I had never seen her happier. You must mean a lot to her if she took you out to her ranch. She doesn't invite anyone out there. Before you ask, I have been out there. I helped her move, and she just told me I could finally get her apartment." Becky said. "I'm shocked she wants to give it up," Sasha said. "Bayley wants to stay on the ranch, and now she has the horses," Becky said. "Do you think Bayley will go back to the FBI and work?" Sasha asked. "Honestly, I don't think so. She loved the work, but she likes being in one place and not moving around as much as she did with that job. She was happy doing what she was doing now. Look, she saved your company a lot of money, Charlotte told me. I don't see her leaving unless something bad happens between you." Becky said.

"Yes, she did! She seems to be good at numbers and investigating issues. But I guess I know now why she is good at solving problems. You knew about Bayley and me?" Sasha said with a smile. "Bayley has always been good with numbers and solving problems. That's why the FBI wanted her and offered her a job. Her dad has never liked her being an agent, and he tried everything to get her to leave. But every time Bayley was ready to leave, her dad would set some goal for her to earn her inheritance. The funny thing is Bayley doesn't need his money. Her dad pisses me off when it comes to her. I hope Bayley walks away from his company and does what makes her happy. Yes, I figured it out. When you are near her, she lights up, and I haven't seen that in Bayley in a long time." Becky said. Sasha wanted to be a part of Bayley's future, and she hoped she could get her to stay working at her company.

Sasha could tell Bayley was close to Becky and trusted her the most. It seemed to Sasha that Becky approved of their relationship. "Here we go. Let's go see how she is feeling." Becky said, opening the door. "How is Sasha? Did her checkup go ok? When can I go home? I don't want Sasha to stay by herself." Bayley said. Sasha watched Bayley's eyes light up when she walked through the door. "Sasha's checkup went fine, and she is staying here with you. You will be released in the morning as long as everything looks good. There was no damage to the shoulder, and it was a clean removal of the bullet. I'm sure you will get great care at home from Sasha here. I'll check back with you here in a little bit. I need to check on Charlotte." Becky said with a smile.

"Thank you, Becky, for taking care of  Bayley," Sasha said. "Thank you, Becky; I appreciate everything you have done for me," Bayley said. Becky smiled at both Sasha and Bayley. "Don't worry; I'll tell Charlotte you went home and you will call her tomorrow. I believe you two are keeping this relationship to yourselves?" Becky asked. "Yes, we are, thank you. I'll text Charlotte as well to check on her." Sasha said. Sasha and Bayley watch Becky leave the room. "How are you feeling?" Sasha asked. "I'm ok; I'm more worried about you. Did you get hurt?" Bayley asked. "No, not at all, thanks to you. You saved me and Charlotte's lives. Without your quick thinking, Charlotte and I would have been killed." Sasha said with tears falling down her face.

"Come here and lay next to me, please. You won't hurt me, I promise you." Bayley said. Sasha took off her shoes and lay next to Bayley. "Finn said he got Frank to take care of the horses. I need to be honest with you; I thought I would lose you." Sasha tells Bayley. "I thought I would lose you when I saw those men grab you and Charlotte. I had to do what I did to make sure you were safe. I also couldn't let anything happen to Charlotte. I know how much she means to Becky." Bayley said. "Well, you will be under my care, and I can work from home. I can help take care of your horses as well." Sasha said. "I can show you how to take care of the horses if you want to learn. I could always have Frank take care of them." Bayley said, kissing Sasha's head.

"No, I want to learn and be with you. Do you still want to be with me after all this? I could move back to my dad's house if you don't want me around." Sasha said sadly. Bayley knew she was a little out of it, but she knew she wouldn't let Sasha go. "What are you talking about? I want you in my life, and I've never been so happy. I would do this all again to keep you safe." Bayley said, lifting Sasha's chin and kissing her lips. Sasha was getting lost in the kiss and wanted to make Bayley feel good. "You make me so happy, and I'm thankful for you. I love you with all my heart." Sasha told Bayley. "I love you to Sasha, and I would love it if you move in with me," Bayley said.
