What a night

Sasha was just as mad as Bayley was about her father inviting Bayley's parents to this dinner. "We could leave if you want to, Bayley," Sasha said. "No, we are going to have to stay. It won't make either of us look good if we leave." Bayley said, taking Sasha's hand. Finally, you two make your way from the hallway." Frank said. "Hello, dad, and you two must be Bayley's parents," Sasha said, sticking out her hand. "Hello dear, I'm Rachel, and this is my husband, Randy." Bayley's mom said. "So, you are the one that has captured my daughter's heart," Randy said, shaking Sasha's hand.

"Well, your daughter had my heart the day she saved me from the river. I can't wait to marry her." Sasha said. "Did I hear you right? You said my daughter saved your life from the river? Bailey has asked you to marry her?" Randy asked. "Yes, you did, Sir," Sasha said. "Well, could you be blind by the fact Bayley saved your life? I mean, it could be a false love." Randy said. Sasha didn't like Bayley's father at all. "Randy, that is not nice, and you need to apologize to Sasha." Rachel said with a bit of anger in her voice. "I was just looking out for Bayley and want to make sure Bayley knows what she is getting into," Randy said.

Sasha felt Bayley wrap her arm around her waist. Sasha worried that Bayley would believe what her father was saying. Sasha was about to say something to Bayley, but her father and mother walked back in with drinks. Sasha noticed Randy was looking at a picture of her and Seth. "So, you used to date guys, I see." Randy pointed out. "Oh, I'm sorry about that. I meant to take that picture down. That's Sasha's ex-husband, and I think Sasha looks so pretty in the picture. I was going to cut Seth out, especially after he was the one that caused Sasha's accident." Summer said.

"What was that?" Randy asked. Rachel could tell that Randy was hurting Bayley's feelings. "Randy, you must stop asking all the questions and just enjoy getting to know Sasha." Rachel said. "I'm sorry, but Summer just said Sasha's husband tried to kill her. Now Sasha is engaged with Bayley." Randy pointed out. "I'm sorry, Randy, I should have said, ex-husband. We are ever thankful for Bayley and saving Sasha twice." Summer said. "What do you mean twice?" Randy asked. "Sasha got kidnapped from the job, and Bayley took a bullet meant for Sasha." Summer said. "Yes, we are thankful for Bayley for saving our little girl and company millions of dollars," Frank said, walking into the room.

"Could I ask how Bayley saved you millions of dollars?" Rachel asked. "Bayley found errors in invoices and helped us discover that my ex was stealing money from the company," Sasha said. "Bayley has always been good with numbers, and you took a bullet for Sasha?" Rachel asked. "Yes, I would do it again to keep her safe," Bayley said. "Bayley, can I talk to you outside for a moment?" Randy asked. Sasha didn't think this was going to turn out good for them. "Are you sure you want to marry Sasha? Her love for you could be because you saved her. It could be a false love." Randy said. "You really can't be happy for me, can you?" Bayley asked.

"I am happy for you, but I don't want to see you get used. This happens all the time when a person saves another person. The person that was saved thinks they love the other person. One day Sasha is going to wake up and realize she made a mistake." Randy said. "That is enough, Randy. You are a guest in the Bank's house, acting like an ass to their daughter. You need to go in there and apologize to them. Then you will keep your mouth shut and stop trying to make problems between Sasha and Bayley. I know you well enough that you are up to something, and if you hurt your daughter, you will pay!" Rachel said. Bayley could tell her father wasn't happy but agreed to apologize to everyone.

"I'm sorry, Bayley, your dad, is acting like that. I'm glad you're ok, and the Banks like you." Rachel said. "Thanks, mom. Are you sure you want us to work for the company? I don't want dad to mistreat Sasha. Sasha had enough problems come her way because of her ex." Bayley said. "Yes, I do; you two would be a great addition to the business. It would help if you were given the job right away. It would help if you didn't have to jump through hoops to get the job that was already yours in the first place. I'm sorry about that! Let us go back inside before Sasha worries you will leave her." Rachel said.

Sasha felt her heart was breaking and knew her love was real for Bayley. She didn't know if Bayley would believe her father. Sasha knew there was a strong connection between them but would that be enough to keep Bayley? Sasha took another drink of her wine and felt like she needed something more substantial to make it through this dinner. Sasha walked over to the bar and looked at the different liquor that was available. "You don't need that to make it through this dinner," Bayley whispered in Sasha's ear. "At this minute, I do want a stronger drink. We still have to make it through the dinner. Your dad doesn't think I'm good enough for you. He questions if my love for you is real. Are you going to leave me over what your dad said?" Sasha asked.

"No, I have no plans of leaving you because I love you. I know this dinner is hard, but I want you to stay sober. We don't need to give him any more reasons to attack are love. We will get through this together. I'm surprised your father didn't get mad at my dad for asking all these questions about you." Bayley tells Sasha. Sasha thought about it for a minute and wondered if her dad had set this up to test them. "Do you think this is a test by my father to see if we love each other?" Sasha asked Bayley. "That is a good question. Because the only two beside us getting mad were are moms." Bayley pointed out. Sasha could feel herself getting angry at her dad for this setup.

"Are you two ok?" Rachel and Summer asked together. "We think they set this up to try to break us up. Why does he keep trying to control my life? He pushed for me to marry Seth, and look what's happened to me. Why can't he accept this relationship and my happiness?" Sasha growled. "Dad keeps trying to control my life as well," Bayley said. "I know, and we are going to talk with them." Summer and Rachel said together. Summer excused herself to check on dinner. "I hope you two will consider coming to work for me. Trust me; you will not have to deal with Randy." Rachel said. "We haven't decided yet because we wanted to talk to you first," Bayley said. "Well, let's set a date and time to discuss the job. I would like to have both of you working for me." Rachel said. Rachel could tell they both wanted the job but wasn't sure if they wanted to put up with Randy. Rachel knew Randy could be a big issue if she couldn't get him under control. One thing Rachel knew was she wanted Bayley and Sasha working for her. Rachel wanted to make sure they were protected.
