The Shipper- A LadyNoir fanfic

Just a normal patrol, right?

*Ladybug and Cat Noir running on top of the Parisian rooftops just as they end patrol. It is late in the afternoon* Ladybug starts to slow down and lands on a rooftop. She waits for Cat Noir to land in the space in front of her. She looks around and notices that Cat Noir is nowhere to be found.
"Well M'lady that patrol went smoothly, don't you think?" Cat Noir said with a sly grin on his face. Ladybug jumped back in surprise
"How did you? What?"
"Trade secret" Cat said as his smile grew bigger. Ladybug noticed his hands were behind his back.
"Wh--" but before she could continue Cat Noir pulled out a red rose. Ladybug looked down and sighed "Cat Noir" she said with sincerity in her voice, "How many times do I need to tell you I can't return your feelings, I'm-"
"In love with someone else" Cat Noir sighed but kept trying "I know M'lady, but you once fell in love with me" "
"What? When?" Ladybug questioned. Cat Noir started to type something on his baton screen. As he showed Ladybug her face started to go red and she looked away. "We don't know what happened it might have been a tactic to take down the akuma."
"M'lady we both know that is not true." Ladybug looked away but everywhere she looked there was a picture of her and Cat Noir taken out of context or photoshopped. Ladynoir, their ship name as Paris liked to call them, was trending. It seemed like everyone wanted them together. "Plus you know we would be Purrfect together" He added trying to lighten the mood a little and maybe even make himself feel a little better about being rejected again.
Ladybug looked down, "I'm sorry Cat Noir but I can't give up the person I love because of something I can't even remember."
Cat Noir took her hand and stared into her eyes, "You ask me why I don't stop pursuing you M'Lady. Well it's just like you said I can't give up on someone I love" He still stared at her and added "So I won't give up on the idea of you and me" Cat Noir leaned down and kissed her hand then backed away and was soon out of sight leaving Ladybug with only herself and the rest of Paris.
