The call was simple, I stated my name, birthdate, and they gave me the information I needed to join, I hugged my sister goodbye, for some reason, I have a bad feeling about all of this, but it's okay, my friends grandmother will baby sit my sister, I tell them that I'll be gone for a bit, then I leave
It's the middle of the night, I wait at the side of the road, the person over the call said that a car would pick me up and ask me what the password was and I was told to just wait until the grey van came, it may have been because i came early, but it took a while for the car to arrive, I'm not too of a inpatient person, but it was fairly inconvenient, I wanted to get all of this over with and get my sister proper medication. Right before i planned on leaving, a grey van came to a halt right to me, the passenger seat window slowly started to drop, and i could see the driver in a pink outfit, but they were not looking at me "password?" he asked me, i gulped "uh, red light, green light?" he nodded and the back door opened. i hesitantly got in, everyone else was sleeping, i do suppose that this game could be getting players all over Korea
i quickly buckled myself in as the door closed, i checked my phone, not realizing the gas slowly start to flood in, i texted my sister saying that i love her, and that im sorry for leaving in such a rush, and i should be back in no time, and not to worry, i smiled as i put away my phone, and slowly drifting asleep
i woke up in a sweat, and in a totally unrecognizable place, i was on a bed with a metal frame, on top of one other bed, and with a few more on top of it, i scanned the room, there were a bunch of people, all in green tracksuits with numbers on it, thats when i looked down and saw i was wearing the same attire, my number being '458'. i slowly got out of the bed and continued to look around, but my eyes attention quickly focused on the huge screen on the wall 'players: 458, $___,___,___' i look down at my number again, i suppose i was the last person, i did sign up and get picked up the same day, so thats understandable, but nearly 460 are as desperate as me? god, theres even an old man, who is definitely the oldest, and coincidently is in the number one spot, and hes talking to some middle aged guy, theres a tough guy, many pretty girls, and right under the huge sign theres about 10 pink tracksuit people, all with different shapes on their mask, 6 being circled, 3 being triangle and with guns, and one being a square, who was in front of the rest "everyone," the square spoke "please get in a orderly fashion, once done, i will explain the rules" everyone was eagerly to do so, and once they were done doing so, a female voice spoke over the speakers "hello everyone and welcome to the games, you will all be playing 6 games over the span over 6 days, whoever has not been eliminated from the games will get a portion of the grand prize, which will be announced after the first game" after she was finished, everyone started silently chit chatting "due to... passed incidents, a triangle mask will be keeping watch of you through the games, only to be leaving you during a very few amount of the games, these people will not change at all" the side doors open, and a line of triangle masks came out, and stood next to each person
i kindly smiled and waved to mine, he didnt respond "please follow the triangle mask next to you through the doors" they all started to walk, and everyone followed, once we went through the doors, the room was like a fun house at a carnival, it was so colourful, and we had to get out photo taken then walking up the stairs, and into a room, it was long and looked like a farm, and across the field was a menacing doll, next to two triangle people, and in front of a tree
The announcer started talking
"The first game is red light, green light"
