'HER LONGING EYES'2 Years Into The Future
LONDON
" people say that the dark clouds of pain and misery don't last long and that's the only hope I am living on. Waiting for the Dawn."
- Pia Accardi"What happened with Rose then?"
"Well, she'd to live without her prince, sweety."
"Wasn't she sad?"
"She was."
"Then why she left him? She should've clung to her prince no matter what!!" The little girl puffed her cheeks. She strongly believed that endings must be happy. Nothing like the story she just heard.
"Sometimes you've to leave the person you love, no matter how strongly you believe in happy endings." A soft voice answered the little girl.
"Aunt Pia, but mommy says that love makes you happy not sad and I don't like Rose being sad. She should be with her prince!"
"Ok Ok sweety!! For you we will change the ending of the story. Ok Lily?"
Pia said as she closed the picture book and saw the little girl thinking for a while in her cute expression. She was such a cute child and too smart for a 6 year old."Ok. But Rose must be happy in the end aunt Pia."
"Ok Miss happy ending! Listen then." Pia tucked the little girl in her lap and pulled the duvet over their legs.
"Rose went back to the Prince and told him that she wanted nothing else than him. She wants to live with the Prince forever, even if his parents oppose to their marriage. She is ready to face any obstacle in their life, if it meant they will be together forever. She told him the truth that his parents told her to stay away from him, that she lied when she told him she doesn't love him but someone else. The Prince was beyond happy to get back his Princess. They both got married against his parents wish. They both were exiled from the kingdom and they went to a faraway land. Where they both were free to love and they lived the life of a lovely couple. In the end it all was a happy ending for the Prince and the Princess. They lived happily ever after."
"Yeahhhhh!!" The little girl boomed in joy as she got her Rose a happy ending.
But not all the stories can be mended. Some are just left uncompleted, in never ending pain. The stories of reality. And unfortunately Pia was a part of such story. She couldn't go back to her Prince and clung onto him until the very end.
