the group spent almost three hours shopping and jungkook was getting tired of it yet he didn't say anything because the guys look like they are having fun, he just nodded to everything if they would ask his opinion about something. luckily though, yoongi and namjoon finally noticed it, the way jungkook was pouting and looking like he could sleep while standing was already a give away. namjoon nudged seokjin who was holding the bunny's hand tightly, "what?" the older asked annoyed.
"baby's tired hyung," namjoon chuckled. pointing at jungkook with his head, laughing a little when jungkook's bunny ears flopped on his face and the action startled him. "oh bun," seokjin sighed and lifted him up in his arms much to jungkook's whines of protest, "c-can walk hyung, please put me down." clearly, it's not what he really want seeing how his body went limp against seokjin, it was just he's insecure and doesn't know if being held like this is okay. no one was even paying attention to them and even if someone did, it's just them giving jungkook a coo because why not, he looks so squishy and adorable in his big hoodie.
"come on bun, just rest on me okay? as soon as we're done here we're going to eat anything you like." seokjin promised him, giving the boy a pat to his back and quickly but gently played with jungkook's tail a bit, amused how it always wiggles after being touched. jungkook did as he was told and laid his head on the older's shoulder, eyes wandering around the store until he spotted a aisle full of toys and plushies. jimin was about to ask jungkook's opinion on whether he likes the skirt or not when he saw the boy staring with wide eyes at something.
he followed his gaze and soon knew why, he smiled a little bit before telling the others that they should stop buying clothes since jungkook has enough already and then they proceed towards the toys section. "you want to pick something, bun?" asked taehyung sweetly, gently running his hand on jungkook's back up and down to silently encourage him to not be shy. the others also held a reassuring smile so the boy won't hesitate and think something negative. when jungkook was sure that no one will be mad at him, he slowly leaned in while seokjin held him tightly for support so the bunny won't fall, the boy grabbed a sloth plushie and looked at his owners face, silently asking them to buy him the toy.
"okay, you want that one?" he nodded at hoseok's action and hugged his now comfort toy. "don't you want anything else, darling? we can buy you anything so just point at something," seokjin said, wanting jungkook to atleast pick another one or two so the boy have options and won't be bored, but he was sure jungkook wasn't the type to just neglect something because the boy clearly loves even the smallest things.
jungkook thought for a moment before deciding that another toy won't hurt and it was his owners who pushed him to do it anyway, so clearly they won't be mad. he looked around for any of his interest and his eyes lit up and when he saw a blue koala, it's eyes are closed though so maybe it was designed to be asleep. "you like that?" namjoon asked the boy and smiled when he nodded eagerly, since it was at the lowest aisle where he couldn't reach, namjoon did it instead and gave it to the happy bunny.
