"everything's packed, right, everyone's re- well, no not really." seokjin muttered under his breath as another wail erupted from their shared room. today is the day they're supposed to go back home, but koo decided he's against that idea and started bawling at six am in the morning saying he wants to stay as if two weeks weren't enough for him yet
they already said this to jungkook and the maknae had pouted about it a little bit but didn't say anything else, just a sad little "okay". he wished koo is that easy to convince.
with his fingers crossed and a little prayer in his mind, he went to check on their baby who was in the hands of taehyung and hoseok. the two were confident they could shut the little one up but clearly they should've think about it twice.
"koo.." seokjin greeted with a little sympathetic smile as he let himself in and closed the door behind him. koo's ears perked up and his tail started wiggling when he heard his oldest hyung's voice. "daddy..." koo replied sadly.
"i know, snugglebun, it's sad to leave but we have to. we can't stay here forever, baby." koo angrily stomped his foot clearly not having it, "koo wan's to stay!" hoseok and taehyung looked at each other with concern on their faces, their baby rarely behaved like this and although tantrums aren't unusual for someone with this mindset or with any kid really, koo doesn't like being bad for his daddies since being praised is one of his favorites.
"okay, koo, this has been going on for half an hour already and i don't like it, you're behaving bad and disobeying daddies. we need to leave and we are leaving, that's final." seokjin abruptly stood before koo could even open his mouth and scoop the little one up in his arms. koo wailed loudly and began thrashing around, "no no no! stay here, stay!"
seokjin payed no mind to him and signaled hoseok and taehyung to get their bags and the others so that they could go already.
after finally settling down inside their van, koo is a pouting mess laying his head on seokjin's shoulder, sniffling and small hmphs leaving his mouth. while all the other six could agree that this is a cute sight, they could also agree that happy koo is the best koo.
"come on now bun," jimin sighed as he stroke koo's long bunny ears that are laying flatly on his head. "nothing to be sad about, it's not like summer's going away for good right? it's going to come back and so we are, hm? for now, why don't you rest your eyes and daddies' will wake you up when we're home."
koo didn't answer but didn't ignore jimin entirely either, he obeyed and let his eyes close, realizing how tired he is from crying and screaming. he knows his daddies are not lying and that they're just doing what is good for his sake, and besides, now that's summer is over, another season is coming and this one might be even better.
