Chapter 6: The Date

Chanyeol was over excited for the date. This is the first time he was going to a date with Kyungsoo and thankfully Kyungsoo agreed to go to a date with him. He didn't want to be overdressed. So he wore a white turtle neck with a denim jacket and a black jeans. He took his phone out and texted Kyungsoo,"Will I come to pick you up"?
Kyungsoo replied,"No, let's meet at the cafe".
Chanyeol couldn't help but whine a little. He put his phone in his pocket and took his car keys and got out of his home.
On the other hand Kyungsoo also somewhat wore the same dress. He wore a white shirt,wore a denim jacket over it and paired it with a blue jeans. He replied to Chanyeol's message and got out of home.

AT THE CAFE

Chanyeol as always was the first one to arrive at the cafe. He took a table and sat down. He took out his phone and started seeing how to make your first date successful. Just then he saw Kyungsoo was arriving. He suddenly shut off the phone and kept it aside. Kyungsoo saw Chanyeol from afar and again couldn't help but notice his smile. "His smile is really beautiful",said Kyungsoo said to himself. He approached the table and sat down. After few seconds of silence,Chanyeol spoke and said,"I guess God also wants us to date".
Kyungsoo was surprised on this sudden statement. Chanyeol continued by saying,"We are twinning see?!"
Kyungsoo saw that they were seriously twinning. He laughed a little. Kyungsoo asked Chanyeol,"So it's our first date, what do you wanna do?"
Chanyeol replied,"Anything that you want."
Kyungsoo said,"Okay then, after drinking coffee let's go to a park and walk."
Chanyeol replied,"Okay. Then let's do it."
They ordered coffee both hot and cold.

While drinking coffee Kyungsoo asked,"Do you seriously like me?"
Chanyeol choked a little on his coffee and replied,"Ofcourse I like you. At first I thought i didn't like you but now I am sure I like you Kyungsoo. That's why I took the challenge of making you my boyfriend for one moth. And in this one month, if your heart doesn't flutter a little bit I will leave you alone." Chanyeol knew he hasn't liked Kyungsoo that much but somewhere he knew he liked him a little. It was not love. He took the challenge to make Kyungsoo his boyfriend because of Ga-eul and as he was the heartthrob of the college. But now it seems a little different. Is he falling for Kyungsoo?
Kyungsoo noticed how straight in his words was Chanyeol. He said,"Yes yes I know and if my heart doesn't flutter I will be of Ga-eul".
Chanyeol was a little sad as he mentioned Ga-eul in their first date but he let it go. Chanyeol asked what drink he usually drinks.
To this Kyungsoo replied,"I normally drink water."
On hearing his reply he couldn't help but laugh. Kyungsoo hit his arm. Kyungsoo asked what does he drink, to this Chanyeol replied,"I usually drink Soju and Latte." They talked for a while and finished their coffee. Chanyeol hadn't finished so he took the coffee in his hands. Kyungsoo told him,"We can wait until you finish your coffee."
Chanyeol said,"Not necessary, I like walking around and drinking coffee."
Kyungsoo replied,"Okay. As you wish."
They got out of the cafe and started walking towards the park. The park was beautiful with a space for childrens and another for adults. It had fountains, swings, a walking path and sitting benches beside the lake. They took a seat beside the lake and sat down. It was such a nice weather. They were silent for some moment maybe because they were enjoying the greenery or the moment. Chanyeol spoke first and said, "Don't you want to take a picture on our first date?"
Kyungsoo replied,"No. I want to enjoy the moment."
Chanyeol couldn't but whine a little but then he asked Kyungsoo to click a picture of him,"Kyungsoo can you click a picture of mine?" Asked Chanyeol
"Ofcourse",Kyungsoo replied.
Chanyeol gave a candid pose with his coffee in one hand and the cap which he was carrying.

"The picture came out well",said Chanyeol.
Kyungsoo replied,"Ofcourse it would come out well as I clicked the picture".
To this Chanyeol replied,"The person also has to be good-looking you know?!"
They laughed a little. "But the picture came out really good. Chanyeol's looking good",Kyungsoo thought to himself. They were going along. Atleast it was far better than what Kyungsoo thought. They started walking and stood beside a beautiful fountain. Kyungsoo was seeing the fountain but Chanyeol only saw Kyungsoo's smile. Then he somehow took out his phone and clicked a picture of Kyungsoo smiling.

"Kyungsoo looks more handsome when he wears his spectacles",he said to himself. Kyungsoo asked him what he was going. To this he replied that he was taking the picture of the fountain.Suddenly, Kyungsoo asked him about his relationships. Chanyeol replied,"I had a crush on someone from high school but she wasn't interested in me." And then I went to some dates but neither were of my type so I didn't date for a while."
Kyungsoo replied,"Ohhh. My dating life was boring. I had a relationship in high school and then I had no relationships. And now I have a crush on Ga-eul. That's all."
Chanyeol was relieved that he and Kyungsoo are now comfortable with each other. They talked for so many hours that they forgot about time. It was time for the park to be closed when they got the hold of time. The park's supervisor whistle got them back to reality. Chanyeol looked at his watch and said,"It's already 8pm. We talked for so many hours Kyungsoo. Today was literally great. Atleast for me".
To this Kyungsoo replied,"It indeed was. It was nice to know you Chanyeol."
They got out of the park and took each other's way.
Chanyeol looked at the photo of Kyungsoo which he took and said,"Today was really great. Hope I could make you feel good. I wish I was little successful to make your first date unforgettable."
On the other hand Kyungsoo thought," While talking to him how did time fly so fast?! I guess he is not that bad at all. He knows how to treat people." Anyways the first date was successful."

Their first date was successful but what about their relationship?! Will they be successful?! And what about Kai and Sehun? Will they be able to understand each other's feeling?! Or something different will happen?! To know this keep reading.
