Chapter 8: Jealousy

It was another day at College. Kai and Sehun were now boyfriends. But what about Chanyeol and Kyungsoo?! What are they exactly? The one month deal would come to end eventually but what will they do when it ends? Will they be couple or they will part ways?!

The College festival was coming soon. The dance practice has begun. Now the time was for the singers. They haven't been selected. A notice was put up in the notice board saying those who want to participate in the festival may come and register their names in the music room.

Chanyeol was walking through when he noticed it. He was good at singing and he thought it was a good chance to impress Kyungsoo. He was going to register his name when he heard someone shout from behind. He turned to see it was Rose. Rose was a beautiful girl. She had good manners. And apart from that she sang well. "Hi Chanyeol,"she said
Chanyeol greeted her with a smile and said,"Hi Rose, nice to meet you."
Rose said,"Nice to meet you too Chanyeol."
Chanyeol asked,"Are you here to ask something to me? Because I am going to the music room to register my name for the festival".
She replied,"I wanna ask about that only. I am also registering my name and....
Before Rose could finish Chanyeol said,"You don't have a partner".
She replied,"Nooo...I have a partner."
"Then what is the problem", Chanyeol asked
Rose replied,"I can play guitar but I don't know the chords of the song which we will be singing for the audition. Can you teach me the chords Chanyeol?"
Chanyeol becomes very happy whenever anyone talks about guitar. And it's a fact that he can play guitar very well.
Chanyeol replied,"Ofcourse. Then let's go to the music room."

AT THE MUSIC ROOM:

Chanyeol registered his name for the festival and sat beside Rose. Chanyeol took out his guitar and listened to the song. He is used to catching beats very fast. He listened to it only once and memorised it. He started playing the chords. First he did it a little slow for Rose to understand then he fastened the beat little bit. He then gave the guitar to Rose to see if she could get the chords a little bit. She started playing but was not able to do it. Chanyeol took Rose's hand and started instructing on how to play. On the other hand, Kyungsoo saw the notice on the board and he thought of registering his name for the festival. He thought of asking Chanyeol if he would join him as he sings well. As he was entering the music room, he saw Chanyeol and Rose sitting beside each other and playing guitar together.

He did not knew what happened to him but he was angry. He felt betrayed. But why would he feel betrayed when Chanyeol and him are not dating?! "Why am I angry? Chanyeol can be with whoever he wants. Him and I are not dating. But why do I feel uncomfortable?" said Kyungsoo to himself.

Rose looked up to the music room's entrance to see Kyungsoo standing there. "Look your boyfriend's here,"said she to Chanyeol
Chanyeol turned around and saw Kyungsoo standing there. When their eyes met Kyungsoo stormed back from the music room. Chanyeol got up hurriedly to leave when he forgot about Rose. He turned back to ask when Rose nodded yes. He gave a smile to her and ran to find Kyungsoo.

Chanyeol called out Kyungsoo's name but he kept walking. Finally, Chanyeol ran fast and grabbed Kyungsoo's hand and pinned him against the wall. "What the hell is wrong with you Kyungsoo? I have been calling you and you are not listening to me", said Chanyeol
Kyungsoo replied,"Nothing is wrong with me Chanyeol."
Chanyeol said,"You are lying Kyungsoo. I can understand that atleast."
Kyungsoo replied with a anger tone, "Yess...there is something. I went to the music room to register my name for singing for the festival and ask you if you would be my partner but i guess you have got a partner both for festival and life."
Now it angered Chanyeol, he replied,"I haven't found any partner Chanyeol not for festival and life. I was just helping Rose with the guitar. And you should know by now that I don't betray anyone. I am your one month boyfriend and I will be".
Kyungsoo said to himself, "Yeah...One month boyfriend."
"What are whispering Kyungsoo?",Chanyeol asked
"So you haven't found any partner right? That means Rose was not your partner? So we can be partners for the festival right?!",asked Kyungsoo
Chanyeol was very happy inside but he didn't want to show so he said,"Yes we can be Kyungsoo. I just didn't know you would sing or not. And for the kind information you could admit that you felt jealous."
Kyungsoo said,"In your dreams".
And then he left hurriedly with Chanyeol following him behind.

AT THE DANCE PRACTICE ROOM:

Kai and Sehun were partners for the dance. They were practicing together. "You are an amazing dancer Kai",said Sehun
"You are too", said Kai
They were dancing when Sehun thought of the other day when Taemin and Kai were so close to each other. He could never forget how Kai was so close to him.  Suddenly, Sehun pushed Kai close to him. Kai was surprised. Sehun held Kai close to him like no one was there.
Kai asked,"What are you doing Sehun? There are people here and the dance is not this intimate"
Segun replied,"I don't care. I don't care about the world or the people. I just care that you are now mine and no one can take you away from me."

Kai and Sehun were so close to each other that their breaths hitched.
Sehun couldn't help but notice Kai's plump lips and cheek which had turned red due to practicing. "I wanna kiss those red lips",Sehun thought. Before he knew anything he was turned on. Sehun left Kai and said,"I have to go to the bathroom."
He locked the door of the bathroom and said to himself,"Damn Kai, why do you have to be so seductive even without trying? I can't help but imagine things which I shouldn't. I know we just started our relationship but I can't help it. Oh Sehun, you have to control yourself."
