YOU ARE WARNED------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A look into the past:
The house was silent, that's the first thing he noticed when he stepped through the door. He expected shouts, maybe even music filling the rooms but the house stood in somber silence. Something was wrong, something had changed...
He walked through the house and when he came into the kitchen he was glad to have instructed his son to wait outside. The kitchen was filled with the smell of rotting food. All the food in the cabinets was spoiled and seemed to have been forgotten about for a long time. He looked around the house for signs of life and he was only able to find the letters he had sent to his sons filled with money so that they could survive until he returned with his eldest. The house stood in somber silence, gone was the laughter and the teasing.
Wilbur and Tommy were gone, leaving no trace but rotting food and unopened letters.
Dream's POV:
Control is a funny thing, isn't it? So many people are willing to sacrifice everything for control or a semblance of it.
The worst thing Is that the moment you obtain control, things become.... more difficult. It's easier to gain power and influence than it is to maintain them. Challenges will always arise, and people will always try and fight back. But control is important because if you're not in control someone will be in control of you. Either you chose and fight to play the game or you become part of the board.
Narrator:
Tommy was sitting in the beach when Dream arrived. The sky looked clear today, it had no clouds and the sun was even making an appearance, maybe it would be a good day.
"Hey, Tommy!" Dream said leaning at a tree watching Tommy's every move. The presence of Dream made Tommy nervous as if he was facing a lion or a predator. He felt as if he was in danger anda part of him was sure he was. Dream was dangerous and a threat to Tommy, Tommy couldn't forget about that. He couldn't let himself forget, he had to be cautious if he wanted to survive.
"Dream, my man, how are you?" Tommy said faking a smile and walking towards his 'friend'.
"I'm very well Tommy. What do you want to do today?" Dream said with an upbeat voice.
-----Time skip-------
Today was one of the few good days Tommy had experienced in exile or at least that's what he thought. Dream had been kind to him, he had even treated Tommy as a brother. In some sense today Dream reminded Tommy of Wilbur.
As They walked back towards Tommy's buildings the sun began to set.
Tommy kept making jokes until Dream stopped responding.
"Something on your mind, big man?" Tommy asked, feeling nervous at the silence. Tommy didn't like silence...
"Not much Tommy, Im just worried." Dream said as he kept walking side by side with Tommy.
