Part 2 Chapter 2

~~Angel's POV~~

Recap: we left off when she sees a boy who looks exactly like BEN but he is all grey.

~~present~~

"Who the fuck are you?!", the grey boy snarls at me. I take an instinctive step backward and put my left hand on Ferox's head to reassure myself she's there. "I don't think it's any of your business," I reply in a bored tone. He starts to move towards me when Ferox growls at him. He stops and backs away, fear in his eyes. "whatever", He says and walks off. I hear BEN walking up behind me. "BEN where is Slendy? no one ever told me...and I'm lost..." I say in a slightly embarrassed tone. "Here, ill take you. You were going the right way so far." He replies as he starts to walk past me. I walk behind him as Ferox runs off once again, probably going back to the room she had come out of when I met the grey boy. Soon we reach a huge door and BEN knocks on it. I don't hear a reply but BEN enters anyway, motioning for me to follow him. Sitting in a high-back chair sits a man, I can tell it's a male somehow, about 7 feet tall, his skin is white and he has no face. He's wearing a black suit jacket with a white button-down shirt. His tie is dark, blood red. All of a sudden I hear a strange noise in my mind and my vision starts to blur and darken. 'Angel focus! You can get through this! You can stay conscious if you focus your mind.' Ferox's voice in my mind faintly. Somehow I know what to do. I slow my breathing and my breaths become deeper. I focus on the desk in front of me and it starts to become clearer. Then something speaks in my mind as the sound fades. 'Good, child, you didn't faint. Not many can do that. I am Slenderman as you might have guessed. You are Angelina, but would like to be called Angel, correct?' It says to me. I just nod as I start breathing normally. 'BEN has told me what happened. What I would like to ask is how did you come to be in our forest? And what are you?' He asks, his voice, as it were. Is kind and gentle but I have no doubt that it can be terrifying if he wanted it to be. I speak out loud. "I was guided here by Rain. I know she died but her spirit was still here. She helped me escape the l-lab and the conditions I was in and told me where to go. Then she was gone....She told me about what I am and some of what would happen. I am an Angel of Death like her. neither of us understood what it entails but since I'm here, in this place, I am going to be killing people. but people who deserve to die." My voice becomes harsh and smoky on the last line, I also stand up straighter. 'How do I know you're telling the truth, child?' "Because of this," I say as I change and my form becomes clear after the short haze people see when I change. He's stunned to silence and BEN just looks at him and says "Well I did tell you, also she's a really great fighter. I sent Clockwork and Hoodie to follow her trail back to the lab she was talking about. They should be back any minute." Slenderman seems irritated by this. 'Why did you do this without telling me or getting my approval?!' "Since when do I ever get your approval? And you know they are the most qualified for the mission anyways. And if she killed anyone we can see her style and skill, and see how much training she'll need. We already know she's not with him." He says not bothered by Slenderman's irritation.
