Nightmares

Okay quick thing, I'm going to change up the writing style for this one and I might not go back to the old way. Anyway enjoy

Set in season 4

As Ezra was coming back from a late blaster practice with Rex, he heard crying from Sabine's room. He shook his head and listened again, cause mandolorians never cry. So Ezra used the override codes he learned by hearing Hera telling Kana when she changed them. When he opened the door he saw Sabine crying with the blanket pulled so far up he could only see her hair.
So he pulled down the covers and slowly sook Sabine awake, when that didn't work he tried giving her a soft rub on the back, and that seemed to snap her out of it. When she woke up she asked him what he was doing, so Ezra told her that he heard her crying, got into her room, and woke her up. Sabine said "thanks I was having a nightmare" "Let's go into the common room and talk about it" Ezra said. Hera heard them talking in the common room and sneaked out to eavesdrop. They were talking about Sabine's nightmare, how the white plains of Mandalore were littered with the ashes of the dead mandalorians armor, how there were At-Ats carrying giant versions of the Duchess. Hera saw Ezra give Sabine a hug, and Sabine cry into his shoulders. After 5 minutes of watching them hug, Hera went back to her cabin. Sabine thanked Ezra for the help, and went back to sleep, peacefully this time.
