Herb cookies POV
Me and Lilac have been training together for awhile now,It's fun hanging out with him,People take him almost as a cold being but he is actually really nice.About 4 weeks ago I talked about wanting to get stronger and such and That's when lilac offered to help out,Me and him were already friends but now I'd probably consider us as bestfriend's,I don't know if he thinks the same though,Truth is I like lilac cookie much more than just a friend or best friend,Even before he helped me train their was just something about him that made me get butterflies.I say something but I really mean everything.
Me and Him planned to train later today,I was so excited.It would be so much fun,before I knew it I went to where we normally trains,Which was a sertain part in the woods,and waiting for a few moments before he came.He walked over to me and we talked for a bit,Just small talk really,But then I saw him sigh and look at the floor-"Hey,Say you have this friend,They are nice and sweet and just..-"He stopped,He almost seemed disappointed in himself.I looked at him and took his hand-"Continue?"I asked."Say you have a friend and they are just the nicest thing and you've had a crush on them for awhile,But they are the same gender and just you don't know what their sexuality is and-"He sighed and started messing with his hands,He was nervous.It was weird seeing this side of them,It couldn't help but break my heart because what if he wasn't talking about me?What if he had a crush on someone else?I sighed and smiled,alittle sadly-"I'd just ask them,And depending how they react that's how I would tell them,If they were Homophobic then I wouldn't tell them anything about it,If they were straight,Same answer,But if they were Pan or Bi or Gay or just whatever then I would take my shot!"I said,Trying to sound happier than what I was.
"Herb are you not straight?Do you like..Dudes?"He asked me,I felt my face heat up some as my hope that he was talking about me went up too,Is shrugged-"I mean I don't really like girls,I never had,I would really consider myself gay..H a ha "I did a tiny awkward laugh at the end."what would you do if your friend confessed to you right now?"He asked,I saw him take a deep breath and turn back on his almost emotionless face once again.I shrugged-"I mean..It just depends on who it is.."I said as I scratched the back of my head-"Hey Lilac when you say Friend,who?Who is 'Friend' " I asked.He just shrugged-"Hey you can tell me"I said.
He looked down at the ground and messed with his hands once again-"Uh promise this won't ruin our friendship?And..This won't make us weird or you won't tell anyone?"He asked.
I nodded-"I promise Lilac"I said.I saw him take in a breath and look at me-"It's you"His words had emotion and it showed so much emotion that wasn't usual from him it felt like he stopped time.I froze and felt my face heat up.I couldn't get any words out of my mouth so I just hugged him,I felt so bad for him,I always knew he wasn't straight but he hated it being brought up mainly because he always felt bad of himself for it because if what his parents taught him,His parents were so homophobic it still affected him even when he didn't see them.When I hugged him I caught him off guard and I felt him jump-"I love you I love you I love you I love you-"I said and finally took a giant breath in and out-"I've..I've been holding that in for awhile"I say as I laugh at myself quietly,I pull away slightly and look slightly up at him,He had a small smile on his lips,Before I realized we were kissing and God it was the best kiss of my life.
