everlong

Now is where it all started. Where stuff got real. I had doubts, a gut feeling. But I ignored it. I wish I wouldn't have done this. 

I was at a party, on my phone. Loud music blasting in the background with bright lights flashing all over .I looked up from my phone and saw Raine looking at me while holding out a cup of beer. "Raine, Im 16... I can't do this. If my parents find out I'll be dead, we'll be dead. What about my college and the rest of my-" "Shush, if you don't like it you wont have to ever do it again" Raine said while looking in my eyes.  "Fine, but you owe me babygirl." I muttered before chugging it down. 5 drinks later, I could barely stand. I felt my legs slip out from under me, and I fell on the hard cement floor. I could feel everyones eyes on me. I heard the laughing, the booming music, I could see the rainbow strobe lights flashing in my face. Then all of a sudden, the world turned black, I couldn't hear anything. Weirdly enough, I was still up. Thats the creepy thing because everyone said I was fainted. Speaking of fainting, I woke up 5 hours later to everyone gone, but Raine. Raine was sitting there smoking a cigarette. I looked up and she looked at me. "Omg, you're okay!!! The party ended after you well... fainted and collapsed. No one knew if you were going to survive. I mean I got so scared and-" Raine exclaimed while I cut her off  "And what? If you thought I was DEAD or DYING you didn't bother to call a doctor!!!" Suddenly the room became silent. Raine looked coldly at me and rolled her eyes and then sighed. "You should've died with that attitude" She uttered while she walked out of the party venue. I looked around and saw it was empty, nothing in there. I stood up and made my way to my car even though the headache was driving me crazy. As I walked up to the car only to see a note on the drivers window. "I'll love you for everlong - Raine" it said. Yeah, if you consider THIS love. Clearly, everlong to her means nothing. I got in the car, and turned it on. On the way home every song made me think of Raine. Raine was supposed to love and care for me, like I do for her. I totally forgot I was driving and, didn't realize I was not in one lane, I looked behind me and saw the police.
