*Peters POV*

My spidey- Senses weren't tingling so I assumed the villain I had recently attached to a wall had been arrested. Although I did need to get out of the l/n's house just in case anything did happen. I decided to text Aunt May to tell her I had left and wasn't feeling well so she wouldn't worry about where I was. I suited up and swung to the top of my favourite building, one where I can see the entire city, just to watch out but also, to relax. Being Spider-man has its ups and downs but this, is by far my favourite part. And of course saving people.

*y/n's POV*

Hours later May and Mom were still chatting about anything they could think of, it's strange how much two grownups have so much to talk about. anyway, I sat on my bed watching friends on Netflix when I saw something fly past my window...I curiously leaped to my window to see the same figure that saved my life earlier, sitting on top of a nearby roof top. He was just swinging his legs watching the world go by. It was kind of a time waster for me really. I stood there for ages just watching this mysterious hero take care of his city when my mom walked in.
"What ya doin?" She said with a smirk on her face.
I immediately jumped away from the window and faced her.
"Nothing, just... star gazing" I responded giving her a believable smile.
"Okay...well don't stay up too long" she said as she tucked me into bed to continue watching friends. I replied with a simple nod.
As the dark sky soon turned pitch black, I decided to turn TV off and get some sleep. As I was imbedded into my thoughts the few words Peter spoke replayed over and over. I sat up and spoke allowed to myself, "what big test?"
I flicked threw my time table for the next day and saw no up coming test. It wouldn't be so weird if I wasn't in all of Peters classes, but that wasn't the case as I shared every class with him.
"Hm" I muttered as my head was soon to hit the pillow again and fall back to a deep sleep.

(TIME SKIP >>>>>>> Morning)

I tried to wake up as early as I could to lye in bed and let my thoughts wonder my mind. I decided to get out of bed and get ready for the day ahead at around 6:45AM. My mom was already awake sitting at the dining room table, reading a magazine whilst taking a sip of her warm coffee.
"Morning" I sniffed in a quiet, tired tone.
"Morning honey" she replied placing her empty cup on the table.
I wondered past her still In my pyjamas to grab a slice on toast from the plate my mother had put out for me already and sauntered back to my room to get changed.

(TIME SKIP >>>>> just before school)

I opened my bedroom door and wondered over to the front of my apartment where the door was.
"Where are you going?" She asked calmly but curiously.
"School?!" I said in a shocked tone
"Oh yes sorry sweetie" she replied, clearly a hangover from last night spent with May.
So I just chuckled under my breathe and strolled out the door securing my bag around both shoulders.
As I approached the school I was amazed to see a familiar figure land directly In front of me.
"Not walking into trouble again are you?" The individual said.
"Don't you have super hero things to be doing?" I questioned pushing past him continuing with my journey.
I turned back a few moments later to see the same annoying kid following me.
"Okay seriously, what do you want?" I exclaimed throwing my hands onto my hips.
"Making sure no one mugs you again"
He said in a less confident tone.
"My hands fell and for a moment there was nothing but dead silence.
"Well I'm fine" I turned back around and hurried to school.
"What was that all about?" I mumbled

*Peters POV*

"Great, nice one Spider-Man" I muttered heading into a dark alleyway to change back to my regular self. Aunt May has known about me being a super hero for a small while now so when I left the other night saying I was ill, she saw straight through me. Here are the exact words Aunt May texted me back with:
Aunt May: Really Peter!
Me: fine
Aunt May: By the way, well done for saving y/n earlier, it's all over the news!
Me: I did my job
Aunt May: do me a favour...make sure whenever she's alone...you take care of her Peter...she's special

I know...weird right...but Aunt May means everything to me, so I have to make her proud no matter how strange the request was.

*Y/n's POV*

Finally the bell had rung for lunch so I headed over to the cafeteria to find my friend Michelle sitting alone
"Hey" I said enthusiastically
"What's up?" She answered quietly but loud enough for me to understand
"Nothing really, last lesson wa-" I started but something else caught my attention. There was a small TV in the corner of the cafeteria that had the news on relaying from last night.
"Shit!" I blurted standing up from my seat. My face was all over the news as 'the girl who got away' like seriously, that's the only name they could come up with! The spider guy was also on the news as 'my hero'. I mean if he wasn't there I would have been fine so I don't know what all the fuss is about! I sat back down to try and calm down a bit when Ned Leeds and Peter Parker walked over and sat on the seats next to Michelle and I.
"We heard what happened last night y/n, are you okay?" Ned questioned me whilst biting into his sandwich.
"Yeah...I'm fine" I shrugged and took a sip of my water
"So what's Spider-Man like? A quiet voice said. I half spat out my water and said...
"What? Oh..umm..he's silly really"
Out the corner of my eye, Ned was chuckling to himself whilst Peter was frowning.
"I bet he's mid thirties, don't you?" Michelle added, breaking the silence.
"What!" Peter shouted turning a few heads nearby. Like I said before, weird kid!
"Nah...I recon he's at least 17" Ned said in a confident tone almost as if he was sticking up for him.
"I don't really want to talk about it anyway" I requested, feeling Ned and Peter both glancing at each other than back to me.
"Okay...well the mans been arrested anyway. S-so don't worry" Peter said in a nervous tone. My head span with curiosity; how did he know that; the news had currently said nothing about him being caught, only the basics and that there would be an up date tonight.
I'm sure it's nothing...right?

*Peters POV*

It was Neds stupid idea to go up to y/n and ask her about last night and for some reason I caved in easily remembering what Aunt May had told me. I just hope I didn't give away to much information!
As the bell rang for next lesson, me and Ned both jumped up and headed to class, not really saying anything to Michelle or y/n.

(TIME SKIP >>>>>> after school/at dinner)

"Thanks May" I spoke picking my empty plate up and placing it into the dishwasher.
"No worries, be careful tonight yes?" She demanded staring me in the eyes basically forcing one answer from me.
"Of course" I commented with a light smile.
I quickly geared up and soared out my small bedroom window swinging to my special spot (the tallest building in Queens) which also just so happened to be around the corner from my place. No criminal activity actually took place that night so it was pretty peaceful to just sit and watch the street lights turn on as the night grew darker. I sat on the ledge and dangled my legs as per usual waiting to be drawn to a crime seen but there was nothing but normal activity.

*(Y/n's) POV*

After dinner I wondered back to my room exhausted of answering to so many people on the way home, so I flipped into bed and put some TV on to just de-stress. Once again... the annoying Peter Parker words came into mind but this time, him saying about the man being arrested. Seriously how did he know! My own mother didn't even know that... the only other person who did was...well...most likely...the spider-boy. You don't think?
No he can't be. I soon sprung to the edge of my bed and pieced it all together...
why was he distracted by outside the window the other night? Why was he offended by mine and Michelle's comments on Spider-man? And how the heck did he know about the guy?!
"OMG" I screamed!
"Peters Spider-boy... man!" I exaggerated but trying not to speak to loudly. I really do need to start saying his name properly!
"Where you taking to me y/n?" My mom questioned whilst hovering outside my door.
"What Mom! No- I'm just...talking to myself!" I returned trying hard to keep my theory a secret. Although I'm pretty curtain I'm right! My mom stepped away from my door and continued with the movie she was watching.
How on earth am I going to tell Peter I know? Unless...I keep it a secret for a while...this could be fun...
