2012 TMNT The Power Inside Her (including a new character)

Too Dangerous

Louisa's p.o.v

Baxter has been deciding to tamper/fix that one little head-thing that messed with April, but it's to help... hopefully. I am still completely skeptical on this though "are you sure this is a good idea, Baxter?" Leo asks. April then says "um, yeah - last time I was hooked up to this thing it made me blind." I nod and add "and mentally connected to that chimera" Baxter just waves us off from our doubt. "Don't worry, I've upgraded it since then - it's perfectly safe, I promise" Baxter tries to reassure us.

Though the machine randomly making a puff of smoke isn't reassuring as it even scared Baxter for a split second, so April and I share a knowing look. Baxter then says "your psychic powers have been expanding rapidly since you were given that Aeon crystal. It's imperative we get tests to know its limits, just for your own sake... also, Donnie has been stressing. He would be here, but Louisa made him go sleep for a bit" I nod saying "he was chewing at what nails he has." April then annoyedly says "I have it under control, besides if it weren't for my powers we never would have gotten away from Shredder."

'What?!' I think a bit scared, if she says she took Shredder down for a bit- while the rest of us couldn't- this is even more bad than what I thought. "You saw what I did to that mutated freak!" April says to try and close her case, so I breathe in and out. Though Leo answers with "that's what worries us" April gave him a look from over her shoulder. I face her saying "we just need to examine that crystal, April - please" she glares at me and holds the crystal protectively. "No! I'm not taking it off" April says while glaring me down, I flinch softly but hear quick footsteps.

Donnie then says "okay, I'm here-" "I told you to sleep!" "And I did... for half an hour" "better than most nights" Leo says while rolling his eyes. April then gets us back on track saying "don't even ask again, Louisa - it's safe as long as I have it." Donnie sighs saying "okay... but Baxter, if you're too scared-" once those words got said Baxter booked it. I sigh softly saying "wimp" Donnie then says "if I could replicate how the crystal increases your powers. That could provide a frame of reference-" "'increase her powers'?" Leo asks, even I know this is a bad idea.

"Don't worry, only slightly... by, maybe, .3%" Donnie tries to reassure before he pushes a few buttons, but I clench my hands tight. 'This is gonna end bad.. I already know, I don't even have to remember this episode to know that much.' I keep an eye on April as I sit in front of her, but she's siting with her eyes closed while holding her crystal in both hands. After a second she moves her hands down while having a bored expression, so I try not to laugh. "Pfft-" "April, let me know if you feel anything, okay? Tingling, headache" Donnie tries to name off things.

April just softly scoffs before saying "I told you, I'm fine! Just.. leave the crystal- AHHH!" April's eyes start glowing as her body looks weird. My eyes widen as I see a few things floating, so I say "April, come on- look at me!" But she didn't. Her hair goes up making the head-thingie get away, then she grabs her crystal as she's still screaming. Everything starts spinning around in circles as April screams "I knew this was a bad idea!" Leo yells out. April then stands up and faces Leo, so he screams a little scared, I stand up and hug her.

"April! Come on!-" I say, but some type of powerful force comes out of her and I flew back- my head hit against something hard. Then I drop down as everything sounds like it drops too, I groan as I hold my head- I now have a pounding headache. It's basically quiet until Raph says "what are you guys-" then it got quiet again as I sit here. Opening my eyes I rest my head in my hand to try to ease the pain "oh no.. April!" Raph then ran to April. Baxter is the next to come in saying "I knew I needed to bail-" then he sees me "hermana!" Then he runs to me.

He helps me up and barely supports me as I say "I'm okay, just a really bad headache is all I have" Mikey is the last to come in. "Woah, are you guys having another super-smash dance party without me?" Mikey asks out. Baxter helps me walk over to the guys that are by April, but Leo and Donnie run over to her. "She's out, but she seems okay" Leo tells us, then Donnie says "we gotta get this away from her." "We just gotta destroy it!!" I add last as he takes the crystal off of her, but it starts moving in Donnie's hold.

It moved so much it escaped his hold- "the crystal!" Baxter and Donnie yell out as the crystal slowly floats towards April. Easily I move out of Baxter's hold and grab the crystal from midair saying "I got it, you guys." Raph nods once saying "nice, c'mere" he motioned me over to Donnie's desk. He grabs a hammer and nail before hitting a nail into the desk while holding his hand out. I hand him the crystal and he sets the little necklace part on the nail, so when it tried to go to April- it stops.

Donnie then says "that should hold it..." "for now" I add, but Master Splinter finally comes in "what happened in here?" He asks us. Then he sees April out cold "April?" He asks shocked while walking to Leo who's holding April. Leo then explains "it's the alien crystal" "it's been messing with her head" Baxter finished for Leo. Master Splinter just says "the crystal has a strong hold on both her mind and spirit.. it has become too dangerous." Donnie then says "sensei's right, I need to break its connection with her.. somehow."

Master Splinter then says "I will tend to her in the dojo, perhaps the mantras will help" I take April from Leo's hold saying "I got her." "Louisa, you don't have to-" "I don't want to leave her side, Leo..." I trail off as I pick her up. Then I look at him from over my shoulder saying "it's okay, I got this one" Leo puts his arms down and nods once. With that I follow Master Splinter as I barely have April in my hold, then once we're in the dojo I lay her down. "Do you remember what is wrong with her?" Master Splinter asks as he sits down, so I sit by him.
