It was the day that we'd all been dreading. The day we have to leave this beautiful place. This place is going to hold so many memories and if I had the choice, I'd never leave. But sadly, I had to get back to do some work for next year, and so did Lando.

I was standing on the back deck, looking out at the clear blue water that was before me. I wanted to go swimming right now, but we had to leave in about 5 minutes so that we'd get to the airport in time.

I took my phone out of my back pocket and took a quick photo of the view that we had, before turning it off and placing it back in my pocket.

"Hey" a familiar voice said behind me.

I turned and saw Lando, a small smile coming to my face. "Hey"

"You ok?" he asked, standing next to me.

"Yeah I'm alright. Just sad that we have to leave this amazing place" I admitted.

Lando lifted his arm around me and placed it over my shoulders, bringing me closer to him. I lifted up my hand and held his hand that was resting on my shoulder and leaned my head against his shoulder.

"We totally have to come back again," he said.

"I completely agree. Why would anyone want to leave this place?" I questioned.

"Who knows?" he agreed.

We stood there in silence, just taking in everything. Lando looked at his watch and let out a sigh.

"We need to get going"

"Can't we just stay like this forever?" I asked.

"We'll come back," he said. "That's a promise"

"I'll be holding you to that"

Lando removed his arm from my shoulders and started walking away, but he was still holding my hand.

"Give me one more minute" I said and he nodded.

"We'll meet you out the front" he stated, and his hand slipped from mine.

As Lando walked back inside, I turned around and looked at the water one more time. I'll be back.

I let out a small sigh and then walked inside myself, grabbing all of my suitcases and climbing into the car with Natalie.

I arrived back at home, and dragged all my suitcases to my room. It was a massive struggle because of how tired I was, but it was fine.

I chucked all my excess baggage on the floor with my suitcases, and flopped onto my bed. My bed has never felt so good.

As my eyes started to drift close, I heard my phone ringing. I let out a small groan when I realised that it was on the floor with all my other stuff. I slowly sat up in the bed and made my way over, picking up the phone and answering quickly before I missed it.

"Hello?" I said sleepily, not even looking at the name of the person calling.

"You have a lot of explaining to do" I heard Natalie's voice from the phone.

"Do I?" I questioned, lying back down on the bed.

"We are having this conversation now, and not later" she demanded.

"What conversation?" I asked.

"What the hell happened between you and Lando that night?"

I let out a small chuckle. "Honestly surprised you didn't ask the next morning when you came back, but you were too busy with your lover boy"
