Three years have already passed since the incident happened, but Draken can't seem to find any way to escape the past. He put all the blame on himself, feeling devastated for not being able to save her despite being in there.
And the worst part is, he still refuses to believe that y/n perished that day. He still got his hopes high even though he saw the explosion. He never lost his hope after hearing the investigator's statement.
A week after the incident happened, their investigation has come to an end. The police stated that there's no trace of a dead body there, so it is possible that she managed to escape before the explosion happened.
Being drowned in his thoughts, Draken went back to reality as soon as Emma poked him. "Draken, wanna go outside for dinner later?"
"Sorry. I'm afraid I can't go" he quickly retorted.
"Pleaaaseee, I won't bother you again. Just accompany me today" she added.
Emma keeps on persuading Draken so he has no choice but to agree. "You promise?"
Draken sighed and nodded. "Yes"
With all the suddenness, his phone suddenly rang. It was from an unknown number. Draken gulped before picking it up because he felt that something was off. He immediately excused himself to Emma and left the room.
