Chapter 11: Allies

In the days that the kids were helping their parents, a certain goddess of beauty was watching them from the top of her tower. Freya was curious about these kids and where they came from, as was the entirety of Orario. They came from nowhere and toppled the strongest adventurers in Orario like they were nothing. Freya saw how here kids were beaten and when she asked what happened, Ottarl had told her that those kids did it. Back to the present, she pondered to herself about how to get those kids as well as her rabbit.

Freya: (They will be mine soon enough.)

She smiled to herself as the day went on.

Hearth Manor

It had been a day since Bell's level up, and the city was going wild about it. Everyone holed up in the manor to stay away from them. While this happened, Bell had asked the kids something that slipped his mind for a while.

Bell: Hey, Albert?

Albert: Something wrong?

Bell: I forgot to ask, but are you kids familiar with talking monsters in the dungeon?

Albert: There's nothing to worry about, we practically grew up with them living on the surface.

Albert gave him a reassuring smile while the other members were relieved to hear that their hopes were realized.

Lili: So the others were able to live up here? That's great to hear!

Welf: It'd sure be nice to live with them here, we got plenty of room.

Haruhime: So Lady Wiene is living with us?

Ardi: Sure was! She's like our older sister!

Bell felt happy to know that the xenos got to live peacefully with the citizens of Orario.

Bell: How about we visit everyone? It hasn't been long, but a lot has changed.

Mikoto: That is true, we can all catch up.

Welf: I don't think anyone has a problem with that, right?

No one in the room had one so they agreed to visit the xenos today. They made their way to the guild before Bell stopped at the Hosstess for his usual pick up.

Bell: Hello?

He opened the door and found Anya at the other end of it.

Anya: Ah, white hair nya. Did you come for Syr's food?

Bell: That's right, is she here?

Anya: Sorry, she's got her day off today, nya.

Bell: Too bad, well I'm coming to greet Ryuu before we all head to the dungeon.

Anya heard it loud and clear before calling to the elf.

Anya: Ryuu nya, your husband is here for you!

The sound of dishes clattering immediately followed before said elf ran out of the kitchen.

Ryuu: B-Bell, hello.

Bell: H-Hi, Ryuu. We're heading down to the dungeon now.

Ryuu's face was flushed and she had her hands behind her back. She had trouble meeting the boy's gaze, but found the courage to show him the bentos she made for him.

Ryuu: H-Here, these are for you. I made extra for everyone.

Bell: Wow, thank you so much.

He gave her a smile which made her blush more.

Ryuu: Be safe down there.

Bell: We will, thank you.

Ryuu: Bye, Bell.
