A/n Rewritten chapter!! yeheyy

"Is there something I haven't been informed about?" Kazuha raised an eyebrow at the youkai, his curiosity piqued. The youkai let out a weary sigh, its steps more purposeful as it approached the two boys seated on the bed. Settling down right beside them, it appeared ready to share a long-held secret.

"Regrettably, yes. We have kept this hidden for far too long. Unbeknownst to you, people have actually come to-"

"Follow me? Indeed, that much is evident. Their lack of skill in concealing their presence is rather apparent... But did you send them? They have been a relentless nuisance, plaguing my existence for as long as I can remember," Kazuha sighed, his weariness palpable. He turned his attention to the slumbering boy nestled on his lap, a gentle smile gracing his lips as he admired the peaceful and innocent expression that rarely adorned his face.

"Isn't he adorable? It's such a pity that he transformed into a mischievous demon due to that wretched mage," Kazuha remarked, extending his hand to tenderly caress the boy's cheek.

"Mage? Are you referring to the astrologist? Ah, you mean Mona," Kazuha responded, a flicker of recognition in his eyes.

"Oh? You're acquainted with her? Pray, do tell me more," Lady Guuji inquired, raising an intrigued eyebrow as she turned her gaze towards the boy beside her.

"Interestingly enough, shortly before I arrived here, she sought me out and began questioning me about a boy named Kunikuzushi—"

"Pardon?" The youkai hissed, its voice laced with a mixture of anger and concern upon hearing his words. "What nefarious schemes is that wretched Mage plotting now?" Lady Guuji scoffed, retrieving a mysterious object from her possession. With a swift click, the enigmatic device emitted a resonating sound that reverberated throughout the entire household, setting an aura of anticipation and heightened vigilance.

"Pardon me... but could you please clarify what exactly is unfolding here? I'm afraid I find myself rather perplexed," Kazuha frowned, carefully shielding the sleeping boy's delicate ears from the intrusive alarm's clamor, ensuring his peaceful slumber remained undisturbed.

"Indeed, my apologies, dear. I neglected to provide you with the necessary context. Allow me to recount the tale for you," Yae Miko expressed, gracefully raising her catalyst and flipping it open to reveal pages adorned with vivid hues of purple, red, and blue, each imbued with a mystical allure.

"This, my dear, is where it all began."
