"Arushi Malhotra, Come here RIGHT NOW!" Nandini shouted out for her 5 year old who had again turned her kitchen up side down.
"What happened, nandu? What had my princess done now?" Manik asked her while descending down the stairs. He came and stand before her.
"She ruined my kitchen again." Nandini told him, manik chuckled but silenced himself when he saw her throwing daggers at him.
"Arushi!" She again shouted her name and next moment, she saw her daughter coming downstairs, with her hand behind her back. Nandini threw some suspicious glares at her.
Arushi smiled at her mother apologetically but nandini turned her face away, showing her anger. Arushi look at her daddy for some help but he shrugged in response.
"Mumma-" arushi stand before her with small smile, she brought a plate from behind her back which she was hiding. Nandini look at him confusingly as her daughter forward a plate toward her which was covered with another plate. She removed the plate and found a sandwich with a smiley on it.
"I made it for you, Happy mothers day, mumma." Arushi smiled cutely as she spoke. Tears of happiness brimmed in her eyes as she pulled her daughter in her arms, forgetting all her anger toward her for messing up her kitchen.
"Thank you so much, baby, you made my day so special. I love you-" nandini expressed her happiness, she kissed arushi's forehead.
"I'm feeling left out. No body loves me-" manik complained, gaining their attention. The mother-daughter duo laughed and hugged him too, then arushi fed them the sandwich she made, manan smiled at each other, pride was visible in their eyes as they stare down at their little angel who had completed their family with her arrival and her one smile brighten up their world.

After making their daughter sleep in her room, they entered their room. Manik was about to walk toward the closet to take out his night clothes out but she held her hand, stopping him. She hugged him tightly.
"I love you, manik." She mumbled, placing a kiss on his chest, where his heart was beating, just for her.
"I love you too, nandu, will always do." Manik kissed her forehead, he knew after today's mothers day celebration, she is little emotional. And he understand it very well. They stayed in each other's arms, sharing their happiness each other.
After crossing all the hurdles, they had reached there. Their happily ever after, their love story might be not as perfect as some fairytale, but it was beautiful & special in its own way with all the ups & downs they had faced together which made their bond more stronger.
