i still hadn't forgiven jamie for last week. i flopped into his car, still holding that grudge. he pulled out of my driveway, acknowledging my hump before following the straight road ahead.

'look it was a joke okay?' he broke the silence.

'well it wasn't a very funny one' i huffed back, ignoring his presence beside me.

he sighed, stretching back and straightening his arms as he gripped the wheel. 'will you forgive me?' he asked apologetically, his tone not so convincing.

i sent him eyes of annoyance, indicating that he should leave it alone. he glanced briefly in my direction, acknowledging my expression before returning his focus on the road. the rest of the journey, yet again, was silent.

'cheers' i muttered under my breath, just enough for him to hear it as i stepped out of the car, shutting the door behind me.

the issue between us hadn't been resolved, but it was on pause for now, leaving a stiff atmosphere between us. until...

'didn't catch that. say again?' he goaded, pulling the window down.

i suddenly stopped in my tracks, i had reached the end of my tether with him. i aggressively jolted my body 180 degrees to face him. 'THANK YOU' i yelled, followed by a swift spin in the opposite direction, collecting myself together.

i heard his horn beep behind me so i turned around in rage yet again, preparing to slap him across the face. that was until i witnessed a conceited damon stood proud in front of jamie's car, blocking him from leaving. he was looking as handsome as ever as his hands rested in his pockets. he looked over to me, a large grin covering his lips.

'move out of the fucking way or i'll run you over, mate' jamie leaned out the window, throwing up his hands in frustration.

damon remained cool, 'ill catch you in a bit, mate' followed by a provoking wink. he slowly strolled away from jamie's car, heading towards me.

'i see why you're not a fan' he joked as jamie's car revved off down the road.

i scoffed. 'yeah'.

'so you gona tell me what that's all about now?' he asked with raised eyebrows and a concerned look across his face as we walked beside each other towards the main entrance.

'he's just a friend. a shitty friend' i replied, sighing.

'just a friend?' he tried, prying for more answers. i sent him a look of reluctance, tightening my lips and raising my eyebrows. 'a friend like i'm a friend?' he followed up.

'no no' i quickly responded, not wanting him to get the wrong impression.

'well what then? you can't leave me hanging like this' he chuckled.

he held his look of anticipation, glaring at me through those big blue eyes of his. big beautiful blue eyes. oh my, how he made me so weak from a mere brief glare in my direction.

'to be perfectly honest with you, damon, i'm not particularly proud of if, but he holds the title of my virginity taker', i said the words 'virginity taker' in a comical manner, but laced with self-reproach.

'ha' he laughed out loud, budging his shoulder into mine. 'virginity taker, ay?' he mocked.

'fuck off' i retorted, reciprocating the gesture. 'look: we have a lot of history, he's a long term family friend of mine, unfortunately'.

'you know i will hold this against you forevermore now' he teased, grinning like a cheshire cat. 'he drives a shitbox too! he definitely has a tiny cock'

i scoffed at his remark 'yeah alright, no need to rub it in'

'ah ha! so he does have a tiny cock?' he pried.

i paused, looking at him conceitedly. 'ahh. i see. i sense some jealousy here' i teased.

he defensively shook his head in response. 'don't flatter yourself love'. i shrunk back to my normal self, cringing at the words that had just left my mouth. 'i've got nothing to be jealous about' he winked, holding the entrance door open for me, causing me to send him a unimpressed expression as i passed him by.

he wasn't wrong though. there nothing lacking in that respect.
