-the music ON the way to the party helps start the mood
on the way to the party, if you have music that you purely enjoy, blasting loud, it does set off a fun and exciting mood that starts off the night!
-you don't have beef with anyone
this is a biggie, in my opinion. when its the day of the party, EVEN if you see your ex boyfriend, you don't have beef with him today. this is purely for enjoyment only. even if someone ran over your bacon cheeseburger, you STILL don't have....beef.. with them. (A/N- my sorry ass putting a pun in here ü-)
-don't wear clothes or shoes that you like.
i can sadly speak from experience. wear something that you don't like too much, so if you get trashed, it isn't something that you like too much.
-don't take your own car, take an uber.
i think i speak for everyone when i say TAKE A DAMN UBER. your safety is not worth the loss of $10. if you're drunk, ask someone sober to call an uber for you. ubers cant be stolen, and you can't get hurt driving with someone's probably DRUNK ASS.
-go with friends, and STAY with friends.
when you walk in the door, you walk in and out with the friend. you STAY with that friend. even if ur too shy to actually make friends, or vice versa, introduce/or be introduced. yall should even go to the bathroom together. not in the same stall or anything, just together.
-don't eat or drink there.
that shit has an opportunity to have something in it.
