i stared at my phone, awaiting any message from some unknown number
but i got nothin
but
then it struck me

that i forgot john was a student in this god damn college n he had funny things called classes
i sighed as i put my phone down before the bell rang again
indicating that classes are now in session n that if people didnt make it to class in time then they just dont attend it
my last class for the day was a bit empty
a few tables had no one sittin in em
n a few others had either two or three people just chattin with each other
i already wrote on the board this morning sayin that its just a free day n that if they had work from other classes to work on then they could or just hang out n relax til classes are over for a few students
i know some people here have classes til 11pm
it fuckin sucks n i wish em the best
i could never teach a class that late
if i did
ill be known to have some napping class
im not up for any work near midnight
but i digress..
an hour or so passed n my classes for today was over
i watched my students leave my class
some even sayin goodbye to me as i waved at them
i mean who wouldnt wave at their students when they leave ?
unless sumthin bad happened n you aint in the mood
but anyway
i packed the papers in my folders and into my backpack
before gettin out of the class n makin my way to this apartment lookin buildin around in the college district
i mean its like a dorm building but for teachers
n the cool thing about it is that teachers dont gotta have a roommate
though the rooms were still small
but anyway
i made my way to my room n just laid on my bed
i kept my phone on my chest as i just stayed on my bed
listenin to the silent ambiance of the building since i was usually the first teachers to come in this building
i hummed to myself before my phone vibrated so many times i thought i was gettin a call
but no
it was
